The plandemic has unleashed poltroons, fiends and mountebanks on us, but few are more contemptible than Parson Goat. Why? Because we expect evil from politicians and bureaucrats. Tony “Can’t Keep My Story Straight” Falsi behaves according to his nature; anyone who trusts this lifelong Marxist is as ludicrous a fool as he is. Ditto for the other bureaucrats in “Public Health.” As for that roll of criminals ranging from Governor “Nuisance” Newsom in Californiastan through “Killer” Cuomo in The People’s Democratic Republic of New York, they’re politicians. ‘Nuff said. But Parson Goat—graduate of seminary, preacher of the Word of God, supposedly devoted to Jesus Christ and His Gospel—well, much was given him, and so we require much from him. Alas, he’s failed to deliver. To us and to the Lord, that is. But he’s cooperated handsomely with Our Rulers to spread COVIDCon ever since he closed God’s house in direct violation of Scripture. Then, when politicians permitted him to re-open, he forced his sheep[le] to muzzle themselves, despite the Bible’s injunction to honor differing convictions. Now comes his worst offence, if that’s possible: he’s turning our churches into Jab Joints. All to enthusiastic if demonic applause from the corporate media: “…perhaps no one has been more effective at reaching older Black Virginians than pastors, preaching the lifesaving benefits of immunizations from the pulpit.” Yeah, why waste time on the Gospel when you can spout Marxist propaganda instead? One cleric even blasphemes “the blood of a lamb that kept the angel of death away” at Passover—and prefigured our Savior—by comparing it to The Jab: “This vaccine could be seen as putting blood on the doorpost,” he said. “We’re hoping and praying to get this plague to move on.” (Seriously, Buddy? I guess we can lay the myth of “systemic racism” to rest once and for all if you’ve led such a cushy life you dignify the flu as a “plague.”) Meanwhile, “Many across the state have run a boots-on-the-ground campaign to inform eligible churchgoers about vaccination opportunities. … Where convention centers have been intimidating or too far from neighborhoods with the most vulnerable people, Black clergy have offered their churches as vaccine clinics.” Isn’t that just-oh,-so-glorifying-God of them? This wickedness isn’t unique to Virginia. Detroit’s black churches have also caved, as have Florida’s. But who’s surprised? Far too many black chapels are nothing more than political clubs that meet on Sundays. Far too many white ones are as well, especially those touting themselves as “mainline.” But though “evangelical” sanctuaries were as tax-exempt and 501(c)3 as the mainline, they at least made a pretense of worshipping Christ. Until Coronapocalypse. Then evangelical doors slammed as resoundingly as anyone else’s. So the fact that “Bible-believing, Bible-preaching” congregations are now joining the Jab Jamboree shouldn’t shock us. “We have been busy repurposing our wonderful facility to be a beacon of hope,” an email from one Parson Goat warbles, as if the “beacon” dimmed when it merely dispensed the Gospel rather than toxic shots. Then again, this church bought COVIDCon wholesale, forcing parishioners to wear masks and shun one another, desecrating Communion, urging obsessive hand-washing, etc. So its lamp flickered out long ago. But I interrupted our apostate: “… We have been hosting regular COVID Vaccine Clinics on our campus (PLEASE get a vaccine!) …” Parson Goat is never more infuriating than when he dabbles in politics. First off, he’s almost always illiterate in the subject; I’ve never met the cleric who can morally distinguish taxation from theft or explain why bureaucrats may properly steal from us but we sin if we rob them. Second, Goats are intractable in their ignorance. But we’ll give this heretic the benefit of the doubt and assume he’s obtuse rather than crooked—so obtuse he hasn’t considered his culpability when The Jab’s victims begin dying, losing vision, suffering paralysis, and convulsing. Yo, Parson: the government granted Big Pharma an exemption from liability—which leaves you as the chump holding the bag. Back to the Goat’s communique: “By now, I’m sure you’ve heard of Governor DeWine’s lifting of COVID restrictions. Thank you, Jesus!” Whew! I’d be careful about blaming the Lord for my cowardice: Parson Goat ought feel no relief at the “lifting of restrictions” because he never should have obeyed them in the first place. “…this is the next phase in our increasing recovery from Covid, and we will respond in an efficient and effective manner that serves our mission. For now, if you’re still concerned about gathering again, our online community continues to be the best way you can engage in the ministry…” Does this church also ask attendees for their preferred pronouns? Because it certainly doesn’t uphold truth. Coddling people who’ve cottoned onto a lie, indulging fallacies and deception, eviscerates the Bible’s unwavering commitment to reality. A great many whoppers prevailed when Christ walked the earth. For example, most folks believed the Pharisees’ claims of their own righteousness. They respected these “whited sepulchers” and figured if anyone could earn God’s favor, the Pharisees had. Yet Jesus frequently disabused His audiences of this error—and none too gently, either. Why aren’t His modern disciples likewise insisting on truth rather than catering to error? Parson Goat’s twaddle does contain one useful item: a link to an article reporting American churches’ reactions to the scamdemic. “A total of 421 churches” answered Christian Standard‘s questionnaire; of those, “almost two-thirds of churches (62 percent) applied for and received federal funds through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.” Explains a lot about the corruption of “evangelical” Christianity, doesn’t it? This final hold-out against the Marxism that long ago devastated mainline denominations had to be neutralized before communists could complete their conquest of America. Rather than battle head-to-head, they bribed their way to the altar. Predictably, Our Rulers rewarded those churches who’ve most consolidated; concentrating “Christians” in a few “megachurches” renders them easier to manipulate: “Those most likely to receive these forgivable loans were emerging megachurches (83 percent); very small churches were the least likely to receive a loan (21 percent). Interestingly, churches that did not receive PPP funds were more likely to see total giving meet or exceed their budget last year (77 percent) than churches that received PPP funds (65 percent).” Hmmmm. Sounds as if God fulfilled His promises to provide for those trusting Him rather than princes. “…the average very small church held more in-person worship services (40 weekends) than any other church size category last year. By comparison, the average megachurch met in-person only 33 weekends.” Most of us suspected this, didn’t we? “By the time of our survey, in-person attendance had recovered to 51 percent of its pre-COVID-19 levels. Very small churches have seen the greatest rebound of in-person worship attendance, with an average of 62 percent of attendees returning. Megachurches experienced the smallest rebound of in-person worship, with just over a one-third (35 percent) returning.” Parson Goat bears this out, even if his church falls between those two extremes. He brags, “We have invested many resources and made significant strides in the breadth and quality of our online ministry since COVID began. Thousands more are now being reached because of this. “The Federal Reserve System is not Federal; it has no reserves; and it is not a system at all, but rather, a criminal syndicate.” ~ Eustace Mullins Money has been said to be the root of evil, but that is not exactly correct. The root of all evil lies in the hearts of men, and those that control the money and monetary systems are able to control humanity, and in the process create and perpetuate evil. Money itself is like any other useful tool or commodity in that it allows for trade, commerce, and wealth to prosper. Money is normally only used for evil and immoral purposes when rulers and governments, state criminals in other words, gain a monopoly on the issuance, taxation, and control of it, and use it to control others. This cannot happen in a truly free society, but then, free societies no longer exist. When men succumb to criminal behavior in order to gain illegal wealth, whether in the private or ‘public’ sector, it is a felonious act, but when the most powerful seek to gain control over the entire monetary system, it is for the purpose of gaining total control over entire populations. This is what is happening now in this fake Covid fraud, which is leading to a reset and complete restructuring of all monetary systems. Make no mistake about it; this is about power and control, and it should be understood that without control over the money, control over the people is not possible. That is why this effort to digitize every transaction, eliminate cash, manipulate and possibly seize precious metals, and to control and regulate all crypto currencies, is so vital to the powerful criminal syndicate called the ruling class, and so devastating to the rest of society. This all began with the Federal Reserve System, which has been a criminal organization since its inception, but has grown into something much worse. This private operation, its central banking partners, and the fractional reserve system, have caused all of the recessions, depressions, ups and downs, and extreme volatility in this country and beyond since the early part of the 20th century. This is a world banking system, and has become the head of the snake of world monetary policy. The U.S. government and governments around the world are now controlled by what has become a global banking cartel with the goal of global domination. In addition, governments that are controlled, the large fascist corporate sectors, including technology, medical and pharmaceutical, and world health organizations, all work together as partners in crime. It is no secret that this crime syndicate called the central banking system, is actively pursuing a grand agenda of monetary consolidation never before seen in history, and with every part of government and its large corporate allies participating in this takeover, this is obviously a major attempt to finalize this coup in order to reshape the world so that all control will be held by the few in a new dictatorial system of technocracy. Cash is being scrutinized and disallowed worldwide, and replaced by fully controllable digital transaction processes. It is imperative to understand that cash is private and untraceable, and no ruling ‘elite’ class will ever seek to allow privacy, whether in money and monetary transactions, business, personal behavior, and even personal thought. Privacy means freedom, and a fully digitized system means total surveillance and control of every aspect of life. With the control of money and digital economies comes total control over nearly everything. With such a system in place, monitoring behaviors, medical records, social contacts, writing and personal habits, computer use, sites visited, and virtually every other aspect of life is not only possible but guaranteed. This is how social scoring can become not only widespread, but also universal, and with that in place, having any freedom whatsoever would become impossible. Without a perfect social score, you may lose your job, your ability to leave your home or travel; if you were not a ‘good’ citizen that adhered to state commands, your power and water could be cut off, your bank accounts suspended, or your Internet ‘privileges’ revoked. This is only the beginning. Crypto currencies were created in major part to avoid the banking and tax theft system, and as of late, this market has exploded. While this may not be the final answer in money, peer to peer monetary transactions using private blockchain technology is considered by the central banks, treasury departments, and governments around the world as dangerous to their authority and ability to steal by taxation any money earned by gains in these markets. Governments want to be in the non-private crypto business, as they desire all transactions to be digital and traceable. Private money systems like crypto are a thorn in the side of totalitarians, and they will do everything they can to destroy private money. The regulation of crypto has just recently become a very hot topic. Washington ‘lawmakers’ want to control and regulate all crypto transactions, but the very reason crypto exists is to avoid the oversight of government and central banks. Just reported is that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and the U.S. Congress all want to participate in crypto regulatory oversight. All these entities are the most criminal and corrupt organizations in finance and government anywhere, but of course, they will claim to want this power to protect the very public that they seek to dominate and control. There could not be a clearer sign that they are deathly afraid of any private market in money, as that threatens their power and ability to destroy the world’s economic systems in favor of one global system that they can control. This preplanned, staged, and fake ‘pandemic’ was meant to instill fear into an already ignorant and mostly compliant society so that a takeover could be possible. So far, this has all worked as planned, and the populations around the world have succumbed to political pressure, and complied with every draconian order handed down. This must stop, and stop immediately, for the end game is near. In order to regain any sanity or normal life whatsoever, in order to even have a chance at freedom; will require disobedience at every level. Just say no to all government, local, state, and federal, and never let these compassionless, non-sympathetic, low life scum rule your life. Remember, that these zombie-like vampires called rulers and politicians, seek to figuratively drain the blood of all those they master over in order to control all. If people really want to be free, they must have a free market in money, and they must keep it private and away from the thieves mentioned above. Do not allow those determined to build by force a completely digital world in order to replace the natural order that exists. Tear down the Federal Reserve, and all central-banking systems. A dentist writes: Dear Allan, We are dropping our mask mandate 6/1/21. Can you provide a script we can post letting our patients know we are dropping the mask mandate? Can’t wait to be mask-free. Of course our clinical staff have always worn level 3 surgical masks and will continue to do so during procedures rendered in operatories. Fingers crossed you can help. -Doctor Logical — In spring 2020, I understood face masks to be a danger to me. That was based on personal experience. Based on extrapolation, I knew masks were a danger to millions of others. Based on my voracious reading of any published science that is mask related, eventually I understood them to be a danger to virtually everyone. The science is hard to challenge at this point: face masks harm you, face masks harm children, face mask harm the elderly, the healthy, and the sick. That’s not even up for debate. The only question really is how much they harm you: badly or really, really badly? They are not neutral. They are not a minor inconvenience. There were no shortage of LRC readers who helped to pound this into my thick head. Thank you for that. The fact that Mr. Rockwell makes contributors post their personal email address is one reason this website is so fantastic at being a beacon of truth. By May 2020, the published science existed for me to be able to understand that worn incorrectly face masks can actually help to spread disease — meaning someone else’s mask can be a harm to you. By this point, I see face masks as total lunacy. I see mask wearing in the general public as the work of sick minds and the masking of children as the sickest of all, with the forced masking of the elderly and infirm as a close second, and the cruel masking of anyone who comes in to visit an Alzheimer’s patient as a very close third. Try that sometime if you wake up one morning and say to yourself “I know what would be fun! To confuse a loved one with Alzheimer’s even more.” Sick. Uncaring. Myopic world views are required to engage in such anti-human activity, and to do so on a mass scale is totally sick. Dear reader, thank you for writing me to ask about this policy. Things To Consider When Crafting A Face Mask Policy A pithy sentence on the door might be my preference, but I recognize the need for professionalism and an effort to reach across a spectrum of patients. A good notice needs to sound official. A good notice should indicate a willingness to be in line with the law. “Guidelines” are not law. A good notice needs to show that you respect “the science,” a most lauded term in the post-2020 world. In 2021, a notice needs to have rules to comfort those who want rules imposed upon them from every authority figure in life. In 2021, a good notice needs to virtue signal a little. Here goes: —— BEGIN NOTICE ——- Face Masks Optional In compliance with local, state, and federal law, as of June 1, 2021, we will no longer be asking our patients, visitors, or staff to wear masks in this office. No patient will be asked to mask. No patient will be asked to unmask. The choice will be left up to the individual patient. The CDC has cautioned that a dirty mask may help to spread disease. [1] If you are going to wear a face mask, based on WHO guidance from 2009, single use only masks should only be worn once, they should be sterile when put on, they should be put on with clean hands, they should not be touched while being worn, neither the nose nor mouth should be touched when a mask is being worn, if touched during use they should be changed, they should be switched as soon as they become moist, they should be disposed of immediately after removal. [2] If you choose to wear a mask, please do not leave used masks in the office, restroom, building, or parking lot as they pose a health hazard to others. Pioneers Can Be Richly Rewarded I’ve been active in the Bitcoin industry since 2013, as a co-founder of an early exchange. Something I learned early in the industry is that passionate people are willing to lead the way and to support others who share their passion. Early on, many businesses that announced they were taking Bitcoin had an unexpected boom in sales come as a result. Today, in some industries it’s practically expected that you accept some kind of cryptocurrency, so a boom in sales like that is no longer the case. Doing the bare minimum does not offer rewards, but brave pioneers are rewarded. In American history, those who crossed the continent 150 years ago and put their claim on a choice piece of land still have towns and counties named after them. Pioneers take risks and sometimes reap huge rewards. I don’t expect you to get a county named after you for having face mask courage in May 2021, but I think there are huge rewards to reap from a public that is hungry for leadership anywhere it can find it. The fact that you even wrote me this note tells me you are a leader. Collect Your Reward I hope you will take out ads in the local paper and post billboards saying that your office does not require masks. Make it your biggest selling point. Hire a staff member’s 19-year-old daughter as a part-time social media assistant to post your new policy all over the internet. Every time your patient asks about the policy say “Yes, that is our new policy. We put a lot of thought into it. Why don’t you take a photo and share it?” Do this even if they ask about the policy angrily. Yes, you even want the angry to share it. Their share will reach others, foe and friend alike. The foes won’t care much and will complain online uselessly as haters are apt to do, the friend will have found a new dentist. Listen to me: there are thousands of mothers within a thirty-minute drive of your office who woke up this week and said “I wish I had a dentist who wasn’t a maskhole that I could take my kids to.” I know this because they write me. Dentists are a dime a dozen. Dentists with a spine are not. This is a golden opportunity for you. If a patient mentioned your policy walking in the door, bring it up again later at the end of their visit. When they leave the office be sure to have someone say to them “Tell all your friends about us.” Again, do this whether they are happy with the policy or angry. Passion moves ideas in the age of social media. The more your good idea moves, the better off you are. This new policy is a good idea. Passion Is Good At Attracting People To Your Great Idea Some will hate your policy, others will love it. Some of those who love it may even travel just to support you. There are very passionate people on this issue seeking leadership and courage and finding so little. Put out a press release to the media announcing your new policy. If you don’t know how to do this, just let me know and I’ll happily help. Put several press releases out a month. Become “that dentist who doesn’t require face masks.” Sure you’ll rile some people up but you’ll get the passionate activists in your door. Some will come for dental cleanings they didn’t need just to support you. Others, like me, will never forget that you stood up when our country needed you to stand up. I have a list in my head of local businesses who took a stand this past year. I have a growing email list of the same. I hardly spend a penny anywhere else, even though many more places are opening. Gas stations, restaurants, churches, and stores, I support the brave and have a long memory for the cowards. Your New Problem Will Be How To Keep Up With The Stream Of New Patients Coming In The Door Done right, I bet you’ll have to hire new hygienists by next Friday and will triple your business by the end of the month. Three months from now 3/4 of dentists will probably have your same policy or something like it: some form of “don’t ask, don’t tell” related to face masks and Covid shots. Today you are the pioneer. You are being handed an opportunity that dentists have begged for for time immemorial: product differentiation. How do I show that I’m better? How do I let others know how much better I am for my patients? How do Iet my potential and existing patients know how much better I am than the competition? Product Differentiation: Dentists Are Not Commodities, But Many Treat Them That Way Dentists are not commodities. They are not interchangeable. Some are good. Some are awful. Your office has a chance to shout from the rooftops “We are different. We are better. Come to us,” and for the first time in decades of practice, you are going to have a lot of people listening. Dentistry is not a sexy industry. Leadership is. You are making a clear statement that yes, you are in the dentistry business and are excellent at that, but you’re also in the leadership business and will be excellent at that too. There is a shortage of leaders in our world today. Look around us at the people who are lauded as leaders: television, industry, politics. These are not people who deserve to be followed. The moment someone even slightly worthy of following stands up, the people flock to him. At the same moment the pariahs all beat him down, realizing what a threat he is to their existence. The hyenas need you to not lead, the chattering classes need you to not lead, the managerial class needs you to not lead. They need regular people to say “I will delegate all leadership in my life to those who are ‘experts’ in leading.” They suck at leading. Every day since the Ides of March 2020 has proven that. Why Good People Get Attacked The hippie mom in Marin County, California who won’t mask her son, the grandma on the south side of Chicago who won’t be a vaccine experiment, the Iowa farmer who doesn’t trust the narrative, the Denver small business owner who doesn’t let masks in his door, the immigrant grandpa who isn’t going to be PCR tested — these people all have more common sense in their pinkie finger than any talking head on TV has spoken publicly in the last week. That means they can lead in their lives better, they can manage in their lives better than any member of the managerial class can. Yeah. The managerial class, the technocratic class. Yeah of course, they want to beat you down and silence you and tell you that you aren’t fit to lead, not even in your own life, not even in your own family, and definitely not in your own community. Of course they want you to think that, because if you stopped being convinced to quiet down and just stood up to lead, they’d have to go and get a real job. The Mute Button Is Your Best Friend Their strategy is to demoralize you, confuse you, and discourage you so that you say to yourself “This is all really complicated and exhausting. I must really need them to make decisions for me.” They want you to feel that way about every aspect of your life. The good news is that if you just mute them, and focus on living life well, life becomes a lot simpler. Leadership In Your Own Life Is The Real Frontline In This Psychological Battle If regular people tap into their capacity to lead, in ways small and large, there are a whole lot of people out there in the world living pretty comfy existences who will be out of a job in the morning. They get that. They need to beat down leaders to stay in that comfy spot. They can’t compete. They would lose. They need to play dirty. Their ability to fly private depends on it. You, my friend, are a leader. Please redraft this new policy to fit your needs. And then, please shout it from the rooftops. Lead in your life by never wearing a face mask again. Why would any American allow the government to deny him a final goodbye to the person who raised him? Why would anyone allow grandma to die untouched in a hospital room without fighting back? In the post-vaccination era, why don’t people remove their masks? Learned helplessness, employed as a control tool. Learned helplessness is well documented. It takes place when an individual believes he continuously faces a negative, uncontrollable situation and stops trying to improve his circumstances, even when he has the ability to do so. Discovering the loss of control elicits a passive reaction to a harmful situation. Psychologists call this a maladaptive response, characterized by avoidance of challenges and the collapse of problem-solving when obstacles arise. You give up trying to fight back. An example may help: You must keep up with ever-changing mask and other hygiene theater rules, many of which make no sense (mask in the gym, but not the pool; mask when going to the restaurant toilet but not at your table; NYC hotels are closed while Vegas casinos are open; Disney California closed while Disney Florida was open) and comply. You could push back, but you have been made afraid at a core level (forget about yourself rascal, you’re going to kill grandma if you don’t do what we say) and so you just give in. Once upon a time we were told a vaccine would end it all, yet the restrictions remain largely in place. You’re left believing nothing will fix this. Helpless to resist, you comply, “out of an abundance of caution.” American psychologists Martin Seligman and Steven Maier created the term “learned helplessness” in 1967. They were studying animal behavior by delivering electric shocks to dogs (it was a simpler time). Dogs who learned they couldn’t escape the shock simply stopped trying, even after the scientists removed a barrier and the dog could have jumped away. Learned helplessness has three main features: a passive response to trauma, disbelief that trauma can be controlled, and stress. Example: You are being stalked by a killer disease which often has no outward symptoms. There is nothing you can do but hide inside and buy things from Amazon. The government failed to stop the virus initially, failed to warn you, failed to supply ventilators and PPE gear, and failed to produce a vaccine quickly enough. You may die. It is all very real: WebMD saw a 251 percent increase in searches for anxiety this April. Americans, with their cult-like devotion to victimhood, are primed for learned helplessness. Your problems are because you’re a POC, or fat, or on some spectrum. You are not responsible, can’t fix something so systemic, and best do what you are told. The way out is to allow people to make decisions and choices on their own. This therapy is used with victims of learned helplessness such as hostages. During their confinement all the important decisions of their life, and most of the minor ones, were made by their captors. Upon release, many hostages fear things as simple as a meal choice and need to be coaxed out of helplessness one micro-choice at a time. The Democrats have had their double impeachment of Donald Trump and are now moving on to a congressional probe of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol intrusion. We’re now in America’s third installment of the Democrat-media complex’s Soviet show trial series. A resolution passed Wednesday 252-175 by the House, with 35 Republicans joining the Democrats, creates a commission to “investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the Jan. 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex,” as laid out by a “Dear Colleague” letter from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Three words in the letter – domestic terrorist attack – make it clear that the outcome has already been determined. A particularly fitting definition of “show trials” is found on Wikipedia, which says they “tend to be retributive rather than corrective and they are also conducted for propagandistic purposes.” Retribution and propaganda are exactly what the Democrats are seeking. But here are some facts that the Democrats are up against: The incident on Jan. 6 was an insurrection, a domestic terrorist attack, only in the perverted minds of power-hungry Democrats and their media apparatchiks. The offenders were guilty of no more than trespassing, scuffling with authorities, vandalism, and apparently some instances of theft. They were not armed with guns or explosives. The government was never in danger of being overcome. There was no plan to take hostages. If swarming into the Capitol was a riot, it pales in comparison to the Black Lives Matter and Antifa rampages that not everyone lived through last summer (because their lives were taken by the “mostly peaceful” “demonstrators” who were aided and abetted by Democrats). The only person killed at the U.S. Capitol was the unarmed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt, shot by a still-unnamed federal agent. The other deaths were either accidental or from natural causes. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick did not die at the hands of an insurrectionist who hit him with a fire extinguisher, a narrative the media pushed until it couldn’t. In Canada, doctors are actually being overtly threatened by their governing bodies to stop saying what they believe to be true in their hearts and minds. Instead, all doctors are commanded to follow in lock step with ‘public health orders and recommendations.’ The tweet below from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario needs no additional commentary. As written, it already incriminates itself. Now you may be wondering how we have gotten to this place of rabid censorship in the medical profession so quickly. I would like you to consider that this has not happened overnight, but rather has been a slow, measured process that goes all the way back to when John D. Rockefeller created a medical monopoly that exclusively supported allopathic medicine a little over a century ago. Using his power to marginalize as ‘quackery’ thousands of years of holistic tradition and knowledge, Rockefeller created a top-down empire that was fundamentally designed as a business for the dispensation of pharmaceutical drugs that he invested millions in developing and patenting.
Over the years, most doctors seemed to believe in the efficacy of pharmaceutical drugs to some extent–after all, their training in medical school was in some ways a marketing presentation of the science-based ‘effectiveness’ of pharmaceutical drugs, with the promise that new research and development in this area would eventually lead to the defeat of all human disease. How’s that ‘War on Cancer’ working out, eh? Perhaps even more significantly, though, this indoctrination machine served as a complete dismissal of homeopathic and holistic remedies that had been around since time immemorial. For those doctors who didn’t completely buy into the propaganda, the ‘Sword of Damocles’ has quietly been held over their heads whenever they strayed a bit from medical orthodoxy. They were MDs, after all, Medical Doctors, so they were expected to promote allopathic cures and pharmaceutical products like opioids and vaccines without question. And by and large, they did. Of course, the financial incentives didn’t hurt. However with the Covid-19 measures, we appear to have reached a ‘Watershed Moment’, where the gap between what the medical establishment is recommending and what doctors know to be best for their patients’ health has become too wide. In an attempt to prevent this gap from getting out of control, organizations like the CPSO have put out statements like the tweet above. For many doctors, that was the breaking point, and the fear of punishment, including the possibility of losing their medical license, was no longer enough to keep them silent. Declaration of Canadian Physicians for Science and Truth Several Canadian doctors came together to write up the following Declaration, which they have invited other doctors and concerned citizens to sign on to. To date, 330 Canadian physicians have been brave enough to put their names to this document, and they have been joined by over 8,800 concerned citizens. I have put this declaration here in its entirety because it so articulately reveals the affront to public health and safety on the part of the CPSO and other licensing authorities for physicians and allied professions all over the world.
All Sectors of Society Are Now Fighting Back This declaration is the latest example of health professionals not only questioning the effectiveness and legitimacy of the Covid measures, but also engaging in the broader debate around the suppression of the rights to free speech and conscience. This debate is being waged in all sectors of society, where handfuls of politicians, police officers, lawyers, businessmen, and others are joining alternative news journalists and broadcasters in seeking to protect free speech and freedom of thought and conscience, and bringing the debate into the public domain. While mainstream media continues to endorse only one side of this debate, important arguments like the Declaration of Canadian Physicians for Science and Truth are moving stealthily online and starting to awaken the public at large. The bigger picture that is emerging in the minds of people is that the Pandemic measures are part of a larger agenda of control that has nothing to do with their health and well-being. As more and more people realize that science, statistics and the truth all concur on the need to end all pandemic measures–and that we would be better off if they had never been instituted–we as individuals are being driven to come together to take more control over what happens on our planet, which is part of the next step in our collective evolution. As is always the case, history the trickster is taking us to a place we didn’t expect to go. Personally, I don’t lose a lot of sleep over Klaus Schwab, the James Bond villain who runs the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is behind the widely touted Great Reset campaign. The Great Reset proposes to reorganize all human endeavor going forward from the top town, directed by an elite cohort of technocrat commissars, to produce a “green” utopia — mainly for their own benefit. It’s an elaborate joke, really. The human project is surely going somewhere. The direction is determined not by technocrat megalomaniacs but by the process called emergence, which means a self-organizing reality of more dynamic forces than any coterie of megalomaniacs could hope to control. These dynamic forces are not necessarily hidden; many are working in plain sight and you can make pretty good guesses as to what’s up with them. But they control the gameboard, not Klaus and his legion of economist-engineer nerds. One of the forces at work is our old friend from physics class: entropy, the god of disorder, randomness, and uncertainty. He is very active lately in American affairs especially, to the degree that we have no workable consensus for running this society, so that all our standards and institutions are crumbling. It’s gotten so bad that we don’t even get the news about the crumbling because The News is one of the institutions that has fallen apart. Instead of events relayed in packets that comport with reality, we get “narratives” uniformly concocted in bad faith, that are knowingly in non-compliance with reality — which is as opposite as can possibly be from what The News once aimed to do. The worst thing about the Trump years was that he enabled his adversaries to get away with turning bad faith into the greatest virtue of all. That’s what you got in the connivance of the anti-Trump Deep Staters and The News bringing you three years of RussiaGate, Robert Mueller’s coverup operation for RussiaGate, and Rep. Adam Schiff lying his ass off without any penalty. And now you’re getting more of it courtesy of Attorney General Merrick Garland allowing political adventurers like Deputy AG Lisa Monaco to go fishing for charges against Rudy Giuliani for the express purpose of burying him in “the process” and leaving him bankrupt. The Justice Department is a broken institution now, and there isn’t enough good will or good faith around these days to put it back together. The Woke hysteria, on the other hand, is lately revealed to be a patent hustle, and is finally inviting pushback in the schools as parents begin to loudly object to “white privilege” struggle sessions for eight-year-olds and workshopping sexual confusion with children who are not ready for any version of sex, real or fake. The Great Reset’s connection to Wokery can be seen in the efforts of George Soros to finance the elections of district attorneys around the country, and that game is unwinding as their blatant incompetence is revealed. Kim Gardner, installed in St. Louis, now faces losing her law license for the malicious prosecution of former Governor Eric Greitens. The Missouri Supreme Court is conducting the investigation. A recall effort is underway to recall Soros-backed LA DA George Gascon, who doesn’t believe in prosecuting criminals. And the DA-equivalent, State’s Attorney, in Chicago (Cook County), Kim Foxx, another Soros installation, is on the rocks not just for covering up the Jussie Smollett hoax, but for allowing the county to become a free fire zone. What was Mr. Soros thinking? Whoever thought a year ago that the fumbling old hack Joe Biden would be sitting in the oval office, fronting for his old boss, Barack Obama? Don’t you wonder how much Mr. Obama has in some fashion been behind all the culturally-destructive shenanigans since he “retired” across town to his Kalorama stronghold? Do you wonder how much of the shadowy activity in the DOJ has simply been an effort to protect Mr. Obama? The former president has done a good job of seeming to disappear into the woodwork. I think before long we’ll understand the role he continues to play in the country’s affairs, and it’s going to be an unappetizing discovery. It might provoke a whole different kind of reset. The government is pressing ahead with its Vaccine Passport and plans for a two-tier society are afoot. The effrontery of those leading the charge beggar’s belief. When they said ‘there were no plans for ‘discriminatory’ Covid vaccine passports’, they were quietly funding at least eight different vaccine passport schemes since last year. And that’s just the half of it. We are midway through a Europe-wide feasibility study for the development of a common vaccine passport, launched by the European Commission in 2018. They would have you believe – they were caught with their trousers down, their policies are proportionate to the emergency as it unfolds, and at all times they operate according to a system of informed consent. But hang on a minute. Since the onset of SARS-CoV-2, they have played the most astonishing game of deception and manipulation. Cooking the books and fiddling the tills. They have deliberately plunged society into two camps – skeptics and adherents, compliant and non-conformists. Last year established the mood for pettifogging anyone questioning the narrative, while those refusing to comply were branded narcissists and psychopaths or denounced as ‘Covid deniers’ – the modern-day equivalent of a Holocaust denier. This government has polarised the nation on a scale never before attempted, legitimising a particular brand of prejudice and enmity not seen in Europe since the days of the Third Reich. And once the NHS App becomes your ticket to freedom on Monday, they will finally have means to weed out and punish dissidence while rewarding blind faith in authority. No matter how injurious their compliance is to society at large, the silent majority have lost their moral compass. But it must be understood – this principle of divide and rule is as old as the hills. It was not so long ago that signs hung in the windows of establishments in Britain that read: ‘No dogs, No Irish, No blacks’. The difference today is that it won’t be the colour of your skin, your class, gender or sexual orientation that will condemn you, it will be something far more virulent – your ideology. That this crucial point has been entirely missed by the chattering classes is astonishing. And despite the most flagrant attempts to marginalise large segments of society, identitarians, the woke brigade and other erstwhile defenders of the most marginalised remain largely unphased. Unless it is to flap their arms in the air over higher rates of vaccine hesitancy amongst ethnic minorities. But the rest of us can go to hell. Who cares about anyone not from a protected social group, right? In this bizarre parochial moral imperative, discrimination is only frowned upon if you’re discriminating against someone’s authorised and rubber-stamped marks of distinction, whereas discrimination, of and by itself, is entirely permissible. These crowd-pleasers would defend their moral high ground by telling you “the unvaccinated are selfishly putting others’ lives at risk”, or that “mask refuseniks are superspreaders”. But hold on a minute. All of this is pure conjecture which, like everything else under the post-COVID sun, has been founded on speculative science and policies pulled straight from the magician’s hat. Other than taking the government on its word, where is the actual evidence of asymptomatic transmission? Where is the evidence of mask efficacy? In fact, can someone point me to a single risk assessment for any of these high-risk interventions? But to deny someone entry into an establishment, to prevent them from travelling, shopping, or worse, stepping foot outside of their own bolthole is no moot point. These are very real and tangible forms of discrimination, for no other reason than you personally disagree with their choices. These people have clearly made peace with the fact that membership to society is now the exception rather than the rule. They labour under some neotribal sense of entitlement – if you’re not with us, you’re against us. Like their neolithic ancestors they take refuge in the herd from an unseen predator threatening their hand to mouth existences. Positioning themselves in the upper echelons of this looming two-tier system, with others equally desperate to get their lives back and ready to submit to whatever ephemeral demands are made of them in return for one coveted free pass to re-enter polite society. While the rest of us – who will not be spoken for, bribed or coerced – will risk excommunication from the social-balm in defence of our principles. This loose association of the poorest and most marginalised, conscientious objectors, lockdown skeptics, and anyone with a shred of faith in their god-given sovereignty of being or bodily autonomy will wage a personal crusade of civil disobedience against the tyranny de jour, as Tolstoy, Gandhi and Martin Luther King did before them. For them, braver men have endured far worse for much less. But what the first group fails to realise is that they are doing the unofficial bidding of another group – the well-healed members of our political establishment to whom the rules do not apply. Who are protected by more exemptions than the rest of us are governed by regulations. And who, at the onset of the pandemic, were not caught with their pants down, as the general population was. As this group spoke of herd immunity, they quietly struck a £119 million COVID advertising and propaganda deal with one of the world’s biggest marketing companies. This will be a little choppy…. The Incarnation Romans 2: 14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) God has written the (natural) law on men’s hearts, whether they believe in God or not. C.S. Lewis develops this in the Appendix of The Abolition of Man. And some version of the Golden Rule is found in every major religion. Let the non-believers believe whatever they want about why this is so. We know it is because God made man in His image and breathed into man, giving him a soul. If this is so, that God has written the law on men’s hearts, why was pre-Christian Rome so ethically degenerate – believing, all-the-while, that their behavior was quite moral? As I have noted before, Rome was a cruel society, albeit the Romans did not believe it to be. They practiced their ethic, finding their behaviors to be quite moral. What was some of that Roman morality? Thousands of slaves crucified at a time; executions in the central amphitheater, cheered on by thousands of onlookers; slavery, necessary and beneficial; women, kept in the quiet rooms of the house; infanticide. It wasn’t that these actions were done but frowned upon; these were done openly and considered moral. Other societies around the world at that time held similar moral views. So where was this law written by God on men’s hearts? Why were there no pangs of guilt or remorse at such behavior? This began to change with Christianity, almost immediately. While slavery continued, with Constantine the slaves were no longer to be the sex toys of their masters; women held a respected role with the growth of the Church; infants were made in God’s image, just as much as their parents. Not to say civilization immediately resolved all of these moral issues – we still work on these today (sadly, going backwards on many). But the change wasn’t a natural evolution from pre-Christian Greco-Roman morality. Did it take the Incarnation to change this? Clearly, God just giving man the Law was not sufficient (the Hebrews couldn’t even get out of the desert due to their failures). Various ancient cultures had some version of the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. But they all took as moral many behaviors that violated many of these same commandments. Was there something necessary about seeing the Law fulfilled in one Man, in the flesh, incarnate? Correlation is not causation, and sometimes coincidence is nothing more than coincidence. But sometimes correlation is due to causation, and coincidence is not merely coincidence. Did it take the Incarnation of Jesus to open up man’s eyes and enable his reason to discover the natural law? I will have to give this more thought, and welcome any thoughts you have. The Search for Meaning The foundation of, and objective for, natural law ethics is to be found in man’s purpose. Man’s purpose is beatitudo. Normally translated as happiness, but not the superficial meaning as we know the term today. Better translated as fulfillment through other-regarding action: love. Jesus said the same thing, when answering the question about the greatest commandment: love. A non-believer wouldn’t put it this way, yet he still is brought to tears when Tony Stark snaps his fingers in Endgame. Why? As noted in the passage from Romans, above: God has written it on men’s hearts. There has been plenty of discussion in the last few years about what has been labeled the meaning crisis in the West. I find that resolving this meaning crisis and moving toward liberty are both addressable by the same thing (and only this one thing): how is one to live? The answer is easy: according to man’s purpose. A second question: how do I find meaning? That answer is easy: by living according to man’s purpose. What is man’s purpose? Beatitudo: Love. A lion in a zoo has plenty of food without the struggle of the hunt, access to free healthcare, and is protected in every physical way. Is he living a meaningful life? To ask the question is to answer it. His life has meaning if he lives according to his purpose – and that purpose isn’t going to be found in a zoo. This is why the search for meaning must incorporate the importance of a natural law ethic. Shop all books by Pat Buchanan When he took the floor of the Senate to reject the Democrats’ Jan. 6 Commission, Mitch McConnell may have salvaged his party’s chances to recapture the House in 2022. For that commission, being spun as a “bipartisan” effort to learn what “really happened” in the Capitol that fateful day, is a Democratic scheme to have the left’s version of events on Jan. 6 enshrined as the official history of the United States. And what is the left’s version? It is that the forced entry and five-hour occupation of the Capitol by hundreds of Trumpists was “an attempted coup d’etat,” an “armed insurrection,” an act of “domestic terrorism,” the “worst attack on the Capitol since the British burned it down in the War of 1812” — and a “threat to our democracy” unrivaled since the Civil War. Moreover, those who shouted, “Hang Mike Pence!” were out to kill the vice president to prevent his doing his duty and overseeing the count of the electoral votes that would make Joe Biden president. And the instigation and inspiration for the assault was Donald Trump’s two months of promoting the “Big Lie” that the presidential election had been “rigged” and “stolen,” as was his rally speech on the Mall that day that called on his followers to march on the Capitol. This is the party line the establishment wants written into the record as the official version of events that day. But is that the truth, or is that a painted-up version of the truth? While the mob that breached the Capitol in the afternoon of Jan. 6 was no “normal tourist visit,” as one GOP congressman has suggested, nor was it an attempted coup or an armed insurrection. No statue in the Capitol was pulled down, as would have been the case had antifa or BLM invaded the building. No painting was desecrated. No act of arson was committed. No gun was drawn, or brandished, or fired by Proud Boys or Oath Keepers or Trumpists within the building. The lone victim of gunfire in the Capitol that day was an Air Force veteran with a decade of service, Ashli Babbitt, who was shot in the neck by a Capitol cop from the other side of a closed door to the speaker’s chamber. Babbitt was engaged in an unlawful act, but nothing she was trying to do justifies her being shot to death. Four months later, we still do not know the identity of the cop who killed her. This is not to excuse what went on during that invasion of the Capitol, which was a shameful disgrace. Cops were assaulted and injured as the crowd smashed its way in. Windows were shattered. Offices, including the speaker’s, were ransacked. Crimes were committed. But the people who should sort this out and allocate blame where it belongs are police and FBI investigators and U.S. and D.C. prosecutors, not political partisans in the warring parties of a polarized nation. Democrats had anticipated that the commission hearings would rivet the nation and media’s attention all this year, with the final report coming out at year’s end. This would enable the Democrats and their media allies to make Trump’s actions on Jan. 6 — the worst day of his presidency — and not the record of Joe Biden — the issue of 2022. When Trump labeled this commission idea a “Democratic trap,” he nailed it. Republican Senate Whip John Thune also got it right: “Anything that gets us rehashing the 2020 election… is a day lost on being able to draw a contrast between us and the Democrats’ very radical left-wing agenda.” To establish the commission, which was approved on Wednesday by the House, Senate Democrats now need to find 10 Republican votes, which, after McConnell’s declared opposition, they do not have. This “national commission” gambit is an old one in U.S. politics In 1967, after urban riots in the Black communities of Newark and Detroit, LBJ appointed a National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders. Liberal Democratic Governor Otto Kerner was named chairman and ultra-liberal Republican Mayor John Lindsay of New York vice chairman. Early in election year 1968, the Kerner Commission declared that white racism was the underlying cause of the Black riots.
Again, this not to excuse what took place on Jan. 6. But if it was an insurrection, an act of sedition, an attempted coup, an act of domestic terrorism, the conspirators should be charged in court, for each of these is a specific crime. And if anyone plotted to kill Mike Pence, then they should be charged with that and put on trial. But it would be folly for the GOP to cooperate in a Democratic scheme to indict the GOP and Trump presidency in the court of public opinion for abetting something close to treason, which did not happen. Legally, for the HHS to declare a State of Emergency they must determine there is a National Security Threat. In order for that threat to be confirmed, there are multiple rules in place that assist in making the declaration. Those rules would dictate that in order for a disease to be considered a viable cause for implementing the Emergency Order, it should be identified as a terrorist attack, a biological warfare attack that justifies it as a Security issue both at home and for American citizens abroad. In addition, in order for the FDA to authorize unlicensed, unapproved treatment for a disease, there can NOT be any other available treatments. Public Health Emergency Law: A pre-requisite to determining the use of biological agents to treat a disease via the EUA – There can be no adequate, approved, and available alternative to the product for diagnosing, preventing, or treating the disease or condition. In addition: Within the emergency authorization, fact sheets providing the potential risks shall be provided to each patient who then has the ‘option’ to accept or refuse the product with no consequences! In addition, the FDA is mandated to provide patients with alternatives whether approved for use or not. State and local officials must comply with the conditions attached to the tests and treatments, ie refusing to comply shall have zero consequences. NO tests or treatments shall be mandated given the entire purpose is to uphold economic and individual freedom and ALL measures will be deemed ‘GUIDANCE’ and shall not infringe on freedom. Lockdowns and closures were – illegal. We were not fighting an attack. We were fighting a disease. Diseases are NOT terrorists. Humor! In the wake of all the rules promoted by various states in converting our freedoms to illegal wakes, 2 democrat senators have determined 2 measures should be made law: 1. Third party delivery apps would have a cap on fees, and 2. Restaurants would be allowed to sell ‘cocktails to go’ for two years. Priorities! These statements, rules and guidance I am quoting are stipulated within The Homeland Security Act, Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures, Public Health Service Act and the FDA. The authority for treatment is specified as coming from government ‘stockpiles’ or from previously issued but unapproved treatments that meet risk evaluation vs benefit analysis, or from treatments approved for other diseases but not yet approved for this disease. These treatments must continue to undergo rigorous trials and updates made available on a continual basis to the FDA in the form of reports. These reports which must be made public via the FDA must include adverse reactions – as in keeping the public informed. To the best of my knowledge none of these requirements have been met. March 27, 2020, the Following Federal Declaration was issued by Azar, Secretary for HHS: “…there is a public health emergency that has a significant potential to affect national security or the health and security of United States citizens living abroad and that involves a novel (new) coronavirus (nCoV) first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China in 2019 (2019-nCoV). The virus is now named SARS-CoV-2, which causes the illness COVID-19. Identifying what it is NOT, Heritage issued this statement: “While a pandemic disease could endanger the safety and security of thousands of Americans, unless it is committed as an act of biological terrorism, it should be considered a matter of health and domestic safety, not national security.” Once again, the distinction is whether an event occurs as a direct result of an attack, or act of biological terrorism, or whether it is a ‘social security’. As such, 1000 lawyers and 10,000 doctors have convened to file a lawsuit claiming the CoVid laws and lockdowns violated the Nürnberg Code against the CDC, WHO and Davos Group for crimes against humanity. One aspect of American exceptionalism is undoubtedly true. American policymakers believe that they have been anointed by heaven to rule the world. Just as God cares if a sparrow falls to earth, U.S. officials believe anything anyone does anywhere on the planet is a matter of Washington’s concern. That is reflected in a foreign policy which essentially has turned the Monroe Doctrine into a global strategy: the US, and only the US, is entitled to intervene everywhere on earth. Admittedly, the policy is not entirely consistent, with Uncle Sam sometimes implicitly delegating its authority. For instance, Washington cares little if, say, France sends its troops to Francophone Africa. Libya became a military mishmash involving several European and Middle Eastern allies, while Washington stuck with diplomacy. American officials did not object when Saudi Arabia used its military to bolster Bahrain’s minority Sunni monarchy, crushing largely Shia pro-democracy protests; worse, the US actively aided Riyadh’s murderous invasion of Yemen. However, the US has tried, often at great expense in blood and treasure, to generally keep order and transform societies in Central Asia, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific. Washington’s moralistic arrogance and imperial pretensions often proved breathtaking. Unfortunately, the result has been many costly failures, such as the Iraq invasion. Even more intrusive, however, is US sanctions policy. Originally they were just restrictions on Americans. For example, the Cuban embargo, applied six decades ago, prevents (with some exceptions) Americans from dealing with Cuba. Other governments typically did the same, restricting only their citizens, not foreign nationals. No one imagined that Washington was empowered to unilaterally regulate global commerce and punish anyone anywhere who defied American dictates. However, in the 1980s US policymakers discovered secondary and financial sanctions. Given America’s global economic dominance, Washington now can make other nations and businesses enforce US policies. Any bank that uses dollars or relies on transactions routed through America can be fined billions of dollars for conducting any transaction, no matter how minor, with a sanctioned person or entity. In this way Washington seeks to force the entire world to implement American policy. This has caused allied states, most notably in Europe, to follow US policy even when contrary to their own interests. For instance, European firms and individuals are punished for investments in Cuba. Europeans long were effectively barred from dealing with Sudan. More recently US sanctions prevented European companies from serving the Iranian market under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action even as European governments attempted to save the accord from the Trump administration’s counterproductive “maximum pressure” campaign. However, these steps, which triggered European resistance rather than acquiescence, did not go far enough for America’s hyper-interventionists and extremist hawks who, some suspected, hoped to create an excuse for war in several hotspots. (Many of them are cheerleading Israeli strikes on Palestinian civilians in the latest round of fighting between Israel and Hamas.) The US also took a more hostile position toward Russia than did Europe. Washington policymakers, separated from Moscow by a large ocean, may have felt freer to risk conflict, since it would be primarily fought in Europe. After all, that was the case for both world wars in the 20th century. Nor had neoconservatives shown much concern for non-American casualties, which ran in the hundreds of thousands or more, during the nearly two decades of quasi-imperial conflict. The ever-egregious Sen. Lindsey Graham even dismissed the cost of a renewed Korean War since it would be “over there” on the Korean Peninsula. Why worry about a few hundred thousand or million South Korean casualties among allies, he apparently thought? Believing that it was entitled to set its own energy policy, Germany agreed with Russia to build the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline project. The US government then lashed out at Berlin directly. In December 2019 American legislators, convinced of their unique virtue and perspicacity, approved legislation targeting European companies involved in the project. The measure, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as one of the authors, also would have the convenient benefit of promoting American liquified natural gas exports. It is convenient when an American politician claiming to do good also does well for his favored interest groups. Although the project was almost complete, the sanctions threat caused European firms to flee. Cruz, along with Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson and Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, appeared to enjoy writing letters threatening European enterprises with economic devastation and ruin. As Lord Acton warned, “power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” So it had with such sanctions supporters. The GOP trio even threatened a German port owned by a local government: “This letter serves as formal legal notice that these goods, services, support, and provisioning risk exposing Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH and Mukran Port, as well as your board members, corporate officers, shareholders, and employees, to crushing legal and economic sanctions, which our government will be mandated to impose. These sanctions include potentially fatal measures that will cut off Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH from the United States commercially and financially. The only responsible course of action is for Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH to exercise contractual options that it has available to cease these activities.” Unsurprisingly, Berlin’s reaction was anger and outrage, especially since officials believed Cruz’s participation was based on squalid economic interest.
