The Biological War Against China

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

In the time since Biden and Harris have been in power, after they stole the election from President Trump, things have gotten much worse than before the election. At that time the American economy had been shut down by foolish government orders, but now rather than end all controls and allow the free market to operate unhindered, massive government spending gives subsidies to people and businesses while they remain idle. The insights of Mises and Rothbard tell us an inflationary boom is inevitable and that complete collapse is only a matter of time. In an earlier column, I warned that the Deep State might seek to start a war with China to divert attention from our domestic mess. As I warned “Because the epidemic started in China and spread from there, hostility toward Chinese people living in the US has gone up. Chinese-owned stores have been threatened, and gun sales to Chinese who fear attacks have soared. Chinese restaurants are nearly empty.”

Biden has continued the hostile policy toward China of the previous administration, and some fear that the government may provoke a war with China in order to distract attention from a tanking US economy. US government propaganda has spread false claims about predatory Chinese trade practices to get the American people ready for hostile action toward China.

But today I want to focus on something even more sinister. There is good reason to believe that the coronavirus epidemic is part of an American biological warfare campaign against China and Iran. The brilliant physicist Ron Unz, who has time and time again been proved right by events, makes this case in a scintillating analysis.

Unz notes that ” Shortly before the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, that city had hosted 300 visiting American military officers, who came to participate in the 2019 Military World Games, an absolutely remarkable coincidence of timing. As I pointed out at the time, how would Americans react if 300 Chinese military officers had paid an extended visit to Chicago, and soon afterward a mysterious and deadly epidemic had suddenly broken out in that city?. . .

“Scientific investigation of the coronavirus had already pointed to its origins in a bat virus, leading to widespread media speculation that bats sold as food in the Wuhan open markets had been the original disease vector. Meanwhile, the orchestrated waves of anti-China accusations had emphasized Chinese laboratory research on that same viral source. But we soon published a lengthy article by investigative journalist Whitney Webb providing copious evidence of America’s own enormous biowarfare research efforts, which had similarly focused for years on bat viruses. Webb was then associated with MintPress News, but that publication had strangely declined to publish her important piece, perhaps skittish about the grave suspicions it directed towards the US government on so momentous an issue. So without the benefit of our platform, her major contribution to the public debate might have attracted relatively little readership.”

Unz adds a number of items that lend cogency to his analysis. First, this is by no means the first suspicious biological attack on China. “During the previous two years, the Chinese economy had already suffered serious blows from other mysterious new diseases, although these had targeted farm animals rather than people. During 2018 a new Avian Flu virus had swept the country, eliminating large portions of China’s poultry industry, and during 2019 the Swine Flu viral epidemic had devastated China’s pig farms, destroying 40% of the nation’s primary domestic source of meat, with widespread claims that the latter disease was being spread by mysterious small drones. My morning newspapers had hardly ignored these important business stories, noting that the sudden collapse of much of China’s domestic food production might prove a huge boon to American farm exports at the height of our trade conflict.  . . So for three years in a row, China had been severely impacted by strange new viral diseases, though only the most recent had been deadly to humans. This evidence was merely circumstantial, but the pattern seemed highly suspicious.”

In order to deflect attention from its own activities, the US government has hinted the virus came from a biological laboratory in Wuhan, but it is hardly likely that the Chinese government would inflict a damaging disease on its own people. It’s a classic propaganda tool for the US government to deflect attention from its own activities by accusing the enemy of ‘starting it.” Unz says, “Despite America’s growing economic conflict with China over the last couple of years, I had never considered the possibility that matters might take a military turn. The Chinese had long ago deployed advanced intermediate range missiles that many believed could easily sink our carriers in the region, and they had also generally improved their conventional military deterrent. Moreover, China was on quite good terms with Russia, which itself had been the target of intense American hostility for several years; and Russia’s new suite of revolutionary hypersonic missiles had drastically reduced any American strategic advantage. Thus, a conventional war against China seemed an absolutely hopeless undertaking, while China’s outstanding businessmen and engineers were steadily gaining ground against America’s decaying and heavily-financialized economic system.

“Under these difficult circumstances, an American biowarfare attack against China might have seemed the only remaining card to play in hopes of maintaining American supremacy. Plausible deniability would minimize the risk of any direct Chinese retaliation, and if successful, the terrible blow inflicted to China’s economy would set it back for many years, perhaps even destabilizing its social and political system. Using alternative media to immediately promote theories that the coronavirus outbreak was the result of a leak from a Chinese biowarfare lab was a natural means of preempting any later Chinese accusations along similar lines, thereby allowing America to win the international propaganda war before China had even begun to play.”

Unz points to another significant fact. After China, the next country to suffer from the virus was Iran, America’s main target in the Middle East. “As the coronavirus gradually began to spread beyond China’s own borders, another development occurred that greatly multiplied my suspicions. Most of these early cases had occurred exactly where one might expect, among the East Asian countries bordering China. But by late February Iran had become the second epicenter of the global outbreak. Even more surprisingly, its political elites had been especially hard-hit, with a full 10% of the entire Iranian parliament soon infected and at least a dozen of its officials and politicians dying of the disease, including some who were quite senior. Indeed, Neocon activists on Twitter began gleefully noting that their hatred Iranian enemies were now dropping like flies.”

When I read Unz’s analysis, it brought to mind an incident in the American bombing campaign against Serbia in 1999. The US bombed the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, and I thought at the time that the attack was deliberate. American military assaults on China go back a long way. Unz agrees. “The [British] Sunday Observer published a remarkable expose in October 1999, citing several NATO military and intelligence sources who fully confirmed the deliberate nature of the American bombing of the Chinese embassy, with a US colonel even reportedly boasting that their smartbomb had hit the exact room intended.”

Even if the American warmongers don’t succeed in provoking a disastrous military conflict in China, we have much to fear. As Murray Rothbard has taught us, the State has throughout history been the great enemy of liberty. The monstrous controls over the American people and over our economy are never going to be fully repealed, even if the coronavirus goes away. The great historian Robert Higgs in Crisis and Leviathan and other works has documented to the hilt the way in which restrictions imposed in emergencies have lingering effects. This is his famous “ratchet effect.”

Unz doesn’t mention Higgs, but he does call attention to a vital fact that makes it extremely likely that the restrictions will stay put, however bad their impact. I’ll conclude with his incisive comment: “But as we see absolutely demonstrated in our daily news headlines, America’s current government is grotesquely and manifestly incompetent, more incompetent than one could almost possibly imagine, with tens of thousands of Americans having now already paid with their lives for such extreme incompetence. Rationality and competence are obviously nowhere to be found among the Deep State Neocons that President Donald Trump has appointed to so many crucial positions throughout our national security apparatus.”

I live in one of the most locked down places in the United States. I live in a place where obedience is demanded, where people are rabid about those who do not properly virtue signal on all topics as obediently as possible, where people become enraged at those who do not bow down.

I live in a place where corporate policies are not honored, but as long as someone can lord over you for a few moments, then whatever that person feels becomes that policy at that moment, no matter how cruel, how devious, how inhuman.

I live in a place where whatever the headline of the latest salacious news article was is honored as policy, as if it were the highest law of the land, as if it were constitutional. I live in a place where whatever comes out of the mouth of the high priest Fauci first thing in the morning is the new law inviolable, that no one may, for any reason, challenge. I live in a place where I walk through my day, every single day, with no mask ever for any reason.

If I can do that in the place where I live, what is your excuse in the place where you live?

In Spring 2020, I Couldn’t Wear A Mask Safely, Millions Couldn’t

I had a personal reason for an individual accommodation to a face mask order, because of that in the Spring of 2020 I had to figure out a way to go on with my life without a face mask.

As the newspapers and television stations and media in general were speaking about the mandatory face mask orders in the Spring of 2020, I recalled something that made me question the narrative. Having had some experience with the media, in which they were not as trustworthy as they would like to be seen, I paused and verified what the media was reporting. I looked for the face mask related and lockdown related primary source documents that the media was reporting on and which the press conferences were based on.

Doing An Internet Search For Face Mask Orders Will Free You From Trusting The Media

In the situation of face mask orders and face mask policies, that meant a simple internet search to find out what my local grocery store’s face mask orders were. When I was traveling, it meant learning what a hotel’s face mask policy was. When I was planning on buying a plane ticket, it meant first researching what the airline’s face masks policy was, what the airports face mask policies was, what TSA’s face mask policy was. When I was walking down the street, it meant knowing what the county face mask order was, what the state face mask order was, what the city face mask order was. These are a lot of layers of bureaucracy.

I get it.

I really get it. It’s annoying.

I’m sorry you and I need to live through this, but it’s the reality of the situation and one that we must accept.

I was left with an option of trusting the media, who had proven themselves not trustworthy, especially in matters like these, or I was left with an option of having a look at the primary source myself and being able to evaluate it myself.

I did exactly that, I referenced the primary source. What I found out is that virtually every policy and every order I came across had massive exemptions in them. Out of thousands, I’ve only ever encountered one written policy that specifically denies all exemptions.

Reading the primary source can be very empowering.

Reading The Primary Source Can Be Very Empowering

The marketing copy placed on big signs uses the terms “mandatory” or “required” or “necessary.” The actual policy, the primary source, seldom uses terms like that.

Often, instead, the actual document that constitutes the policy uses terms like “exception,” “exemption,” “in cases which,” “all other times,” all of which make it obvious that compliance was not “required” by any means. The media weren’t the only ones telling lies and misrepresenting the policies. The marketing and communications teams within these organizations were as well.

What I found was that in places like Sonoma County, California is that if every person living there would just read their face mask order, they would realize this “mandatory” face mask order exempts people who have difficulty breathing while wearing a face mask.

Others would realize that despite all the hullabaloo about masks and religious worship, the people of Michigan could read their face mask order and see that face masks in Michigan are never required in churches.  That’s the actual written policy, regardless of what the media claims.

Many other policies like these abound. Many other exemptions like these abound, so many that if you just read the local order you’ll realize how many people really fit into them and do not have to wear a face mask. Even in April 2020 how clear it was how many people fit into them. Now that’s even more abundantly clear.

If You Are Aware Of The Exemptions, You Are One Step Closer To Invoking Them, And One Step Closer To Never Wearing A Mask Again

In Spring 2020 I developed a method for invoking these exemptions. Many times the people at the front door of an establishment wouldn’t understand these exemptions, yet they were the official, publicly available written policies of the company they worked for. Sometimes the managers wouldn’t even understand these exemptions. You, as a customer who could not wear a face mask, just had to be aware of them and just had to be ready to invoke them.

Sometimes living freely means you need to convince others to let you live freely. Sometimes that’s as simple as educating an employee about their own corporate polices.

People were writing me having quite a difficulty invoking them. Some people were saying “I went to the front door and no one knew that there were medical exemptions.” Other people were writing me saying “I went to the front door and started yelling about my constitutional rights, and they turned me away.” Other people were made to go through all kinds of strange contortions.

Lots Of People Live Life Unmasked, And It’s Almost Always Way Easier Than You Thought

Along with hundreds of readers of LewRockwell.com I was able to develop a technique that really works very, very well and works in at least 95% of situations. I wrote a book Face Mask in One Lesson to describe this technique and to elaborate on the other 5% or so of situations in which it does not work.

This works so well, so often, that I feel comfortable saying the only reason anyone should ever wear a face mask at this point in the Spring of 2021 is because they want to be wearing one.

There is no reason anyone should ever feel like they have to be wearing a face mask, especially knowing that’s not what’s best for their body. There’s no reason anyone should ever be wearing a face mask if they’re not able to safely wear one. There’s no reason anyone should ever be wearing a face mask at this point if it’s something they truly do not want to do.

If you want to be wearing a face mask and you believe it’s best for you and you believe it’s best for others, please by all means wear your face mask. Live a life in denial of the science.  Live a life harming yourself. Live a life harming those around you as you wear a biohazard around your face, touching it, moving its contents around, touching things around you, breathing its contents out into the world, leaving it on the table, on the ground, or hanging from a rearview mirror.

That face mask on your face is more of a biohazard than any child is. Yet we treat children like the biohazard and face masks, those ten cent polypropylene things from Wuhan, we treat like blessings. What a messed up existence that is.

The Only Reason To Wear A Mask Is Because You WANT To Wear A Mask

The only reason you should be wearing a face mask is because you think you should be wearing a face mask. There’s absolutely no other reason. If you wear a face mask today you have no one but yourself to blame. That’s the truth.

I don’t want you to blame yourself. I just want you to stop wearing one.

I get that it’s hard to have a three-minute conversation with a stranger letting them know you can’t wear a face mask safely. That’s what passes for hard these days. I get that it’s hard to look up a store phone number before you walk in the door and to speak to the manager first. That’s what passes for inconvenience these days. I get that it’s just easier to comply with evil. It’s always been easier in the short term to comply with evil. It’s always been more alluring in the short term to comply with evil. It’s always been more enjoyable in the short term to comply with evil. I get it.

Doing what’s right can be really hard sometimes.

That doesn’t change the fact that if you wear a mask, you only have yourself to blame. Literally no one will force you to wear a mask if you put up the most basic level of resistance.

Can you do that today? Now?

The other option is to just comply and to see where that gets you. It might be fine. Or it might not be. I don’t know the future. My guess is that the madness of the last year does not stop without push back.

The resources are out there for you to never wear a mask again. The resources are in this article for you to never wear a mask again.

This Phrase Works So Well: “I’m Unable To Wear A Face Mask Safely”

A technique developed by myself and readers of LewRockwell.com that works so well, so reliably, is to speak to a person with decision-making authority and to say to them “I see you have a face mask policy. I want to come through your front doors in five minutes. I am unable to wear a face mask safely. What can you do for me?” If you can take three minutes to make a phone call to a manager before you enter a store and to tell them that, you would not believe how well this works.

Sometimes I’m Pedantic With Face Masks, Because I Want To Test The System

When I am trying to figure out what is true and what is not true, I can be pedantic to the point of inanity. I don’t know how many people reading this would do what I did last night. I was attempting to enter the local Safeway. I was not going to wear a mask, as is the norm for me, and I wanted to test this technique rather than just brazen through the door, or rather than using a handful of other techniques.

I like using this technique. I like recommending this technique. I like testing this technique. I like theorizing about this technique so that I can write about this technique and help other people use this technique. Unless I can do so in an expert fashion, I really have no business claiming to anyone that this works. Therefore, I practice these methods a lot and talk with others who do the same.

I called the Safeway. I pushed eight for the customer service desk. Hold music played. Phone rang again. It brought me back to the switchboard. I pushed eight again for the manager’s desk. Hold music played. Some minutes later the phone rang again and it brought me back to this switchboard.

This happened over and again. For 15 minutes I waited on hold in an effort to test this technique and to see if it continued to work as well as it had the previous time, to continue to gauge the sentiment, to continue to kind of get a feel for how a moment like this goes, to be able to get a feel for shifting corporate attitudes trickling down and shifting societal attitudes.

Perhaps you understand from this example, what I mean, when I say I can be pedantic to the point of inanity, when I’m testing a theory. I test against every option. I try to test against every variable. I try to have a matrix in my head of what worked and what didn’t work and to identify the weaknesses in my theory, over and over again, testing and retesting.

A Lot Of Businesses Don’t Care About Masks Anymore, Help Push That In The Right Direction By NEVER Wearing A Mask Again

A detail of this theory that I observed last night was that if it takes more than a few minutes for a manager to pick up the phone, you should probably just enter the door and ask to speak to the manager. Speaking to a manager beforehand lets some customers walk a little more proudly through the store, having been given permission to breathe freely by the person in charge, rather than walking about with the internal dialogue and posture of being ready for someone to come scold you. Alternatively, you can skip the manager step and could just go about your business. You’d be surprised how few people working at a store actually care. Many now assume that if you are maskless, you belong maskless.

I walked in the door of Safeway, went to the customer service stand. No one was there. I went towards the checkout and there were only two lanes open. One person was frantically trying to make the machine work. The other person was frantically checking out a line of people. That man was not dressed in a uniform, but in a pink button-down shirt.

I said to him, “Sir, I’m looking for the manager.”

He said, “I’m the manager.”

I said, “I’m not able to wear a face mask safely, I want to make sure it was okay for me to come through here.”

He said, “Well, if you’ve got a medical thing, yeah, it’s no problem.”

He shrugged his shoulders and he went back to what he was doing, which was running a customer’s items through the scanner. It was practically a waste of his time for me to even bring it up to him.

I’m sure he appreciated hearing that from me.  He probably appreciated getting a quick heads up, in case someone was going to freak out on him, or on me, perhaps even one of his employees, one of his virtue signaling employees.

But you know what, he’s got more important things to do that to worry about you or me not wearing a mask, just like most people on the planet. The few who want to be busybodies just need to be politely put in their place.

Never Wearing A Mask Again, Is So Much Easier Than You Think, At Least That’s What People Tell Me

What many thousands have written me about and have been pleasantly surprised about and which I suppose you will be pleasantly surprised about as well, is how little most people care that you’re not wearing a face mask, how little most people will give you a hard time if you’re not wearing a face mask, how easy it is to not wear a face mask.

Sure, there are people here and there who have a snide comment, who sneer at you, who want to be the boss of you, who have this feeling that if they have to follow the rules, then why aren’t you also following the rules. People like this want to lord over you.

I have news for you. I hope it’s not news, but it might be news. Those people exist in every era, in every situation, whether we’re talking about trimming a hedge or climbing a mountain or buying a piece of real estate or putting up a billboard, there are people out there who want to lord over you.

Never Live Your Wonderful Life Worrying About What The Lowest Common Denominator Think, They Just Deserve To Be Ignored

And those people just need to be ignored or put in their place or responded to, depending on what you feel like. But those people don’t matter. You can’t live your life for those people. You can’t live your life for the lowest common denominator of society, which is exactly what those people are.

You need to live your life as the most amazing you that you can. The most free you that you can be. The most obedient to the best principles that you can be, rather than being obedient to the lowest of the low principles. Be disobedient to the lowest of the low. Let the lowest of the low speak poorly of you. Consider it a compliment. Be complimented when such people come and give you a hard time. Be complimented.

My friend, you have no one to blame but yourself if you wear a face mask, even one time more, and for any reason.

I Wonder If Anyone Can Wear A Face Mask Safely

In the spring of 2020, it was a different story. It wasn’t clear what exactly the policies were. It wasn’t clear what was harmful to the human body in these situations and what wasn’t. But now it’s abundantly clear how harmful these face masks are for so many people.

And that information doesn’t trickle through society on its own. That’s your job, my job, the job of anyone incentivized to have that information trickle through society, the job of anyone who wants to live in a more free country, rather than to see an endless continuation of the corona communism of the past year.

Many millions of Americans were exempt from the mask policies in the spring of 2020. Now I have to ask, can anyone actually be wearing these face masks safely?

So many studies seem to indicate that the answer to that question is “No!”

There are many people who cannot be wearing these face masks safely.

These Techniques Above & Below Literally Work 19 Out Of 20 Times

These technique works. They are here for you to use. You might be shocked by how well they work. You might be shocked by how well they ripple freedom out into the world.

People write me about many different situations and edge cases, but really it just comes down to the same useful techniques.

1.) Get your hand on the policy.

2.) Have a look at the exemptions.

3.) Have an honest conversation with the person who can make a decision over the policy.

4.) Don’t do it with tension. That’s less likely to work in most situations. Government is a notable counter-example to this, since government is so used to operating by force and pressure.  Keep things calm, keep things reasonable. Sometimes you’ll find an unreasonable person, keep it calm, keep it reasonable. Move up the food chain a little. Eventually, you’ll come across a reasonable person with very little tension.

Literally 19 out of 20 doors will open for you with very little effort.

Literally 19 out of 20 doors will open for you with very little trouble.

Literally 19 out of 20 doors will open for you.

You will not believe how easy this process is.

If you wear a face mask ever again, for any reason, the fault is your own. I have very little sympathy for you if you do.

And in this process, I will be your willing assistant, your willing adviser, your willing accomplice. If you contact me and let me know, you cannot wear a face mask safely and that you think you have found an edge case, and maybe you need a little bit of extra elbow grease, I will so happily help.

I’ve written a book “Face Masks in One Lesson for this reason. I have written many LewRockwell articles over the past year on this topic for this reason — to help you never wear a face mask again, for any reason.

We have a short window of opportunity to stop the normalizing of face masks.

I have made videos to help walk you through this simply, if you like watching videos or like listening to audio, instead of reading. You can access them by signing up for the email list at Realstevo.com.

These resources I have made for people who have vowed to live life by a higher standard, who have decided that they will never wear a face mask again, and who might need a few extra pointers to help get them over that line and to help them with a few edge cases.

Everything you really need to accomplish this though is inside of you. If you have the will to do this, you really will be able to live a normal life and never wear a face mask again.

Covid Vaccine and Genetic Thunder Nobody Is Listening To

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

I’ve written about this before, and I’m sure I’ll write about it again.

We’re told that the RNA COVID vaccines force the cells of the body to produce a foreign “spike” protein.

There is a little thing you may have heard of called EVIDENCE.

In other words, show me a well-done study, using a few thousand people who have been vaccinated, which proves that all these people’s cells ARE producing that foreign protein and ONLY that foreign protein.

There isn’t such a study.

But if there were—

“Look, a few hundred people didn’t produce the spike protein at all. Wonder what they DID produce.”

“I see a hundred people out of two thousand who produced a huge excess of the spike protein. Wonder what effect THAT is having.”

“I see two hundred people who produced the spike protein plus a bunch of other foreign proteins. A few of those foreign compounds I’ve never seen before. That’s not good at all.”

In fact, show me a large-scale study in which an injection is designed to force the human body to produce ANY specific protein. Let’s see the results.

Can’t find that study, either?

Believing what genetic researchers tell you is like believing what a grifter tells you about how to win at roulette.

For example, are you aware that, after decades of genetic research and tens of thousands of studies linking genes to diseases, there isn’t a single gene-treatment that can cure a disease across the board?

What there is, is a great deal of money that hustlers have raised for bio-tech firms. And there are many sky-blue promises.

And oh yes, there are many examples of errors, in which experimental gene insertions yield unexpected results. Unintended and dangerous results. Unpredicted alterations in genomes.

So the huge numbers of reported injuries and deaths from the COVID RNA vaccines are surely the result of more than just the production of the spike protein.

Why is nobody talking about this?

Because people assume the problem must be the spike protein and only that protein.

The people of planet Earth are part of a guinea-pig vaccine experiment that is much wider than that. We are being subjected to an open-ended genetic spin of the roulette wheel.

And there are no safeguards and no comprehensive follow-ups.

For this reason alone, the entire effort to develop the RNA injections should have been banned from the beginning—until researchers demonstrated convincingly that the risks would be minimal. Of course, they couldn’t make that guarantee.

But the fatuously named Warp Speed program rocketed ahead. Based on pretentious and speculative “science.”

People tend to think—because they watch sci-fi movies—that scientific evil doers are firing a perfectly destructive single arrow at the heart of humanity. But evil-doers are quite capable of launching a thunderstorm of multiple pyrotechnics beyond their control.

As I pointed out in prior articles on this subject, the analogous area of GMO plant genetics is replete with uncontrolled effects—including gene drift, in which injected Monsanto genes move from plants into soil bacteria and human gut bacteria.

Genetic ripple-effects throughout an organism can force the unnatural production of a number of different proteins while modifying others.

This is NOT good; and some of the ways in which it is not good are unknown.

Based on the current level of knowledge in the field of gene-research, the entire program of manufacturing and injecting RNA into the body is an insane criminal enterprise.

As time passes, I expect investigators to discover new ways in which these RNA shots are harming people. And some of those investigators will say, “THIS turns out to be what the vaccine is doing. THIS one thing.” And they’ll be wrong.

It’s five, ten, 20 different things. Caused by ripple effects throughout the genome.

The US military operates a vast network of soldiers, civilians, and contractors that it uses for clandestine missions both at home and abroad, Newsweek has claimed, adding that the force also manipulates social media.

After a two-year investigation, the outlet reported that the undercover army consists of around 60,000 people, many of whom use fake identities to carry out their assignments. The Pentagon’s agents operate in real life and online, with some even embedded in private businesses and well-known companies.

The massive program, unofficially known as “signature reduction,” is reportedly 10 times the size of the CIA’s clandestine service, making it the “largest undercover force the world has ever known,” Newsweek claimed. But the true scale and scope of the shadow army remains a closely guarded secret. No one knows the program’s total size, and Congress has never held a hearing on the military’s increasing reliance on signature reduction. There appears to be very little or no transparency regarding the massive clandestine military force, even as its continued development “challenges US laws, the Geneva Conventions, the code of military conduct, and basic accountability,” the outlet said.

Around half of the signature reduction force is said to consist of special operations personnel who hunt down terrorists in war zones and work in “unacknowledged hot spots” such as North Korea and Iran. Military intelligence specialists reportedly make up the second-largest part of the secret army.

However, the fastest-growing group within the Pentagon’s clandestine force operates exclusively online. These “cyber fighters” assume fake identities to gather intelligence and search for “publicly accessible information” on the internet. They even reportedly take part in “campaigns to influence and manipulate social media.” Hundreds of these shadowy keyboard warriors are employees of the National Security Agency, Newsweek reported.

According to the outlet, the network relies on 130 private companies and dozens of little-known and secret government agencies to support its operations. The businesses, which do everything from forging documents to creating disguises, collectively make over $900 million annually to help fund the secret army.

While the Pentagon’s agents typically remain under the radar, Newsweek claims there are several cases in which their covers have been blown. One such incident in 2013 involved American “diplomat” Ryan Fogle, who was arrested in Russia while allegedly trying to recruit a double agent. The case received wide media coverage and prompted considerable mockery, due to the seemingly outdated spying paraphilia that Fogle was in possession of, including wigs, sunglasses, a Moscow street map, a compass, as well as an old Nokia phone. However, an expert who spoke with Newsweek said the phone was likely concealing a highly sophisticated communications device.

My Property, My Price

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

In the midst of an old article about the personalities on the American Pickers television show, I noted this particular sentence for future reference: “One of the criticisms of American Pickers is that they basically rip people off by buying things real cheap so they can sell them for a huge profit.” Buying things cheap and selling them for a huge profit—isn’t that the goal of every American business? If that is not the goal of a business, then why is it in business?

People are applauded by the “sharks” on the show Shark Tank when they say that something costs them x to make and they sell it for y. “Wow, that’s a great margin,” I have heard it said many times.

There are many books and articles that have been written about “retail arbitrage”; that is, purchasing a product from a local retail outlet for a low price and then selling it for a higher price on Amazon, eBay, or Craigslist.

So why does there exist the ridiculous non-crime of price gouging? And why is it a federal offense?

In Puerto Rico, the U.S. Attorney’s Office just charged Tonatiuh Antonio Leal-Matos with “two counts of violating the Defense Production Act (50 U.S.C. § 4512) in relation to price gouging personal protective equipment (“PPE”), face masks and disinfecting wipes, during the COVID-19 national public health emergency.”

According to a press release by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico:

From approximately April to July 2020, Tonatiuh Antonio Leal-Matos sold PPE face masks and disinfecting wipes at a substantial markup and at prices in excess of the prevailing market price.

The defendant accumulated over 5,000 face masks that covered the user’s nose and mouth. Some of the face masks that the defendant accumulated offered protection from particulate materials at an N95 filtration efficiency level while others did not. The defendant sold the masks that he acquired for between $10 and $35 per mask; these sales prices were at least two times his acquisition cost.

Tonatiuh Antonio Leal-Matos also sold most of the clinical grade disinfecting wipes he accumulated in several transactions. The defendant purchased containers of clinical grade disinfecting wipes for $6.95 per container and subsequently sold those disinfecting wipes for approximately $39 per container, at an approximately 461% markup. The manufacturer’s price for each container was approximately $6.75 to $8.45.

“The defendant knew that the price he charged for face masks and disinfecting wipes exceeded prevailing market price,” said U.S. Attorney Muldrow. “He saw the devastating COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to make illegal profits on needed PPEs.”

If convicted of both counts, the defendant faces up to two years imprisonment and a fine of up to $20,000.

According to the international law firm Proskauer, in a Federal Price Gouging Enforcement Update:

With no comprehensive federal legislation on price gouging, enforcement has largely taken the form of the Department of Justice and other executive agencies acting under the Defense Production Act (the “DPA”), a law passed in 1950 in response to the Korean War which gives the president broad authority to manage domestic industrial affairs in the interest of “national defense.”

The DPA has two sections relevant to the COVID-19 pandemic: an anti-hoarding provision and an anti-price-gouging provision. The anti-hoarding provision bars accumulation of materials “in excess of the reasonable demands of business, personal, or home consumption.” The anti-price gouging provision bars accumulation of materials for the “purpose of resale at prices in excess of prevailing market prices.” The act carries both civil and criminal penalties.

It was President Trump, that great economic mind, who issued three executive orders to combat price gouging, and referenced the DPA.

Price gouging is a crime in search of a victim. The seller is happy because he sells his product. The buyer is happy because he buys the product. Where is the victim? Free and unfettered interaction between buyers and sellers is always to be preferred to government intervention.

But how can the buyer be happy if he has to pay an exorbitant price? He doesn’t have to. If he doesn’t like the price, then he doesn’t have to make the purchase.

But what about during times of crisis and emergency when people need certain items? It makes absolutely no difference. No one has the right to purchase any particular item for any particular price at any particular time. Natural disasters don’t negate economic laws.

The simple rule is: My property, my price. To argue otherwise is to impugn property rights.

If I own something (face masks, disinfecting wipes, bottled water, ice, plywood, generators, prepackaged foods, gasoline, propane, diapers, infant formula, medicine, flashlights, batteries), then it is mine. It doesn’t matter how long ago I bought the items or what I paid for them. No one has a claim on any of my property before, during, or after a natural disaster. If I want to hoard my property, then it is my business. If I want to neglect my property, then it is my business. If I want to consume my property, then it is my business. If I want to destroy my property, then it is my business. If I want to give away my property, then it is my business. If I want to sell my property, then it is my business. If I want to sell my property at a discount or loss, then it is my business. If I want to sell my property at a high or exorbitant price, then that is my business.

Price-gouging laws grossly violate property rights—pure and simple.

Has The ‘Civil War’ in Israel Really Just Begun?

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

The whole world is, without moving, witnessing new clashes between Israel and the Palestinians. It remains unmoved confronted with the blood that flows on both sides. The course of events attests that foreign powers, the United States, Iran and Turkey, are throwing oil on the fire. However, this conflict differs from the wars that have followed one another for 73 years in that we are witnessing the possible beginning of a civil war in Israel. The question arises whether this is a spontaneous fire or whether it is deliberately provoked.

International Jerusalem Day

May 7, 2021, the fourth Friday of Ramadan, was the traditional International Day of Jerusalem established by Imam Rouhollah Khomeini. His successor, the Leader Ali Khamenei, gave a speech to put Jerusalem (the third holiest place in Islam) back at the center of international relations, a central issue for the Islamic world, according to him [1].

Iran recognizes the massacre of European Jews by the Nazis. It considers that the Europeans created Israel in order to get rid of the surviving Jews (which is false, as the Exodus affair attests), by stealing a land that did not belong to them and by making the Palestinians pay for their crime. In doing so, the Europeans have shown how little regard they have for human rights. The capitalists and communists showed their true colors. Iran has never recognized the State of Israel, neither during the time of Shah Reza Pahlevi nor since the Islamic Republic. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has prophesied that Israel will disappear before 2040, not because of Iran, but because of “its own arrogance.

Mr. Khamenei said that Israel will fall when the Islamic Nation unites. He celebrated the martyrs of this cause, both the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood and his own Shiite followers, starting with Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and General Qassem Soleimani. On the other hand, he denounced without naming them the “deal of the century” and the “Abraham Accords” concluded by President Donald Trump and the normalization of relations between some Muslim countries and Israel. Finally, the leader recalled his proposal to the United Nations to hold a referendum so that all the inhabitants of Palestine, regardless of their religion, and the Palestinian refugees abroad (including those in Latin America, Australia and elsewhere) can determine their common future.

The planned expulsion of Palestinians from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood

Throughout Ramadan, and especially since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s speech, there has been a great deal of tension in Jerusalem over the possible expulsion of four Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood [2]. Since 1948, Israel has been expelling Palestinians from Jerusalem house by house in the name of Ottoman occupation laws, retained by the British and the current regime. This strategy is expected to result in pushing the Palestinians back into a small neighborhood in East Jerusalem, Kfar Aqab, which is already isolated from the rest of the city by a concrete wall. However, in the specific case of these four Palestinian families, the courts are relying on an Israeli law that violates the 65-year-old agreement between Jordan (then manager of this part of the city) and the United Nations.

There is no doubt about the future decisions of the Israeli “Justice” insofar as this state has unilaterally proclaimed, in 1967, Jerusalem as its “eternal and indivisible capital” in violation of UN resolutions.

From the evening of Friday, May 7, clashes took place on the Esplanade of the Mosques (the Temple Mount in Israeli terminology). They were even harder than those of 2017. On Saturday, clashes also took place in the West Bank (governed by the PLO) and on the Gaza border (governed by the Muslim Brotherhood of Hamas). The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dispersed the crowds with tear gas and rubber bullets. When incendiary balloons were launched and Hamas fired a rocket into Israel, IDF retaliated by destroying a Muslim Brotherhood military post in the southern Gaza Strip. Hamas then asked the Palestinians to occupy the esplanade until the end of Ramadan on Thursday, May 13.

The Israeli Supreme Court has postponed indefinitely the hearing, scheduled for Monday 10, on the expulsion of the four Palestinian families of Sheikh Jarrah. During his Sunday message, Pope Francis called for an end to the violence in Jerusalem: “Violence only breeds violence. Let us stop these clashes,” he said. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, the Emirates, Iran, Jordan, Morocco, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Turkey have condemned Israel’s behavior and called for de-escalation. Finally, the Quartet (Russia, EU, USA, UN) issued a statement noting “with serious concern the possible eviction of Palestinian families from their homes where they have lived for generations (…) and expressing its opposition to unilateral actions, which only lead to escalation in an already tense environment” [3].

Towards a military conflict

Suddenly events turned to war, with Hamas firing rockets against Israel from the evening of Monday 10; Tsahal responded by bombing Gaza with planes and helicopters, i.e. with means 10 times more lethal.

All the Palestinian armed factions quickly went to war, with the exception of the Palestinian Authority which, on the contrary, repressed popular demonstrations in the West Bank.

The Palestinians are deprived of democracy, as much as of a Republic. No one knows what they think. No elections have been held for 15 years. Those scheduled to take place in May were cancelled by the Palestinian Authority after Israel objected to them also being held in East Jerusalem.

On Tuesday the 11th, Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh gave a televised speech linking the issue of Jerusalem to Gaza. He presented Al-Quods (Jerusalem) as the heart of the Palestinian nation. He denounced the expulsions of Sheikh Jarrah, but above all he presented the clashes on the Esplanade of the Mosques as Jewish attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is not true: the Israeli police entered the mosque and fired tear gas while chasing demonstrators who were rightly challenging the expulsion of the four families of Sheikh Jarrah. This speech surprised the Israelis. Hamas no longer poses as a resistance force symbolically replying to Israel, but as a force hoping to impose an end to the slow nibbling of the Palestinian Territories.

This is war

On Tuesday evening, the Tsahal razed the 12-storey Al-Shourouk tower in central Gaza using penetrating bombs. It housed, among other things, the Hamas television station, Al-Aqsa. This was Israel’s response to Haniyeh’s message. Hamas (supported by Turkey and Qatar) and Islamic Jihad (supported by Iran) responded with a shower of rockets on Tel Aviv, but also on Ashdod, Ashkelon and the edge of Jerusalem.

The intentional destruction of a television station constitutes a war crime. The International Criminal Court, which has declared itself competent for crimes committed in the Palestinian Territories, has therefore been seized.

The UN Security Council met twice by teleconference and behind closed doors. The United States opposed any official statement at this stage, saying that the expulsions of Palestinian families in East Jerusalem were an “internal Israeli matter”, which all other members of the Council dispute.

The Arab League, for its part, said the matter had no connection with a property dispute and that only those with a good memory are right.

Russia demanded an immediate meeting of the Quartet (UN, Russia, EU, USA).

Four members of the Security Council issued a statement in the absence of a Council position: France, Estonia, Ireland and Norway called on Israel “to cease settlement activities, demolitions and expulsions, including in East Jerusalem”.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, who supplies Hamas with weapons, denounced the inaction of the Security Council and called for “teaching Israel a lesson.”

For the first time, clashes took place in mixed cities (Muslim, Christian and Jewish), notably in the working-class city of Lod where a young Israeli Muslim father was lynched by armed Jewish compatriots. President Reuven Rivlin denounced an anti-Muslim “pogrom”. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned the crime and declared a state of emergency in Lod. At the funeral of the victim, guerrilla scenes took place in 18 mixed cities. There is now talk not only of a war between Israelis and Palestinians, but also of a possible civil war in Israel between Jews and non-Jews (goyim).

The U.S. has made repeated contacts with Israel to call for de-escalation, to no avail. It appears that since Washington is preparing to formally re-engage with Iran – after the election of its next president and the signing of a new nuclear agreement – against Tel Aviv’s advice, it will not exert more pressure on Israel. Hoping to achieve something, however, the United States opposed a third Security Council meeting by teleconference in order to give it time. Under the rules of the Council, the rotating presidency, this month China, has the power to impose a face-to-face meeting, but Beijing abstained.

Analysis of the conflict

All impartial observers agree that the Israeli policy of settlement, demolition and expulsion violates international law and UN resolutions. It is in fact a territorial conquest, not by military means, but by the application of flawed legislation.

Benjamin Netanyahu, son of the private secretary of the founder of the Revisionist Party Vladimir Jabotinsky, embodies the project of a Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates (Eretz Israel). It claims to be a form of Jewish supremacism. He is no longer the majority leader in his country, but he is still Prime Minister.

Similarly, all agree that firing rockets at random into towns is a war crime against civilians.

Hamas does not contest the colonization of Palestine, unlike Fatah, but only the fact that Jews govern a Muslim land. It claims to be a form of Muslim supremacism. Incidentally, this “Palestinian section of the Muslim Brotherhood” (as its flag indicated until recently) was created by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin with Israeli help to weaken Yasser Arafat’s Fatah.

Once it has been established that both Likud and Hamas have ideologies from another age and criminal practices, there is still no prospect of peace that would allow both sides to live together.

All UN member states, with the exception of Israel, recognize the “inalienable right” of Palestinians, not to return to the homes from which they were expelled in 1948, but to return to their land as full citizens. In doing so, they all theoretically oppose the “two-state solution” that the West has supported since 2007. By maintaining this contradiction, the West is responsible for perpetuating the conflict.

The current confrontations are all taking place in geographical Palestine (i.e. in both the states of Israel and Palestine). But they should not obscure the fact that, in the past, Palestinian leaders abandoned their claim to live on their land in an attempt to conquer Jordan (“Black September”) and then Lebanon (the “civil war”). In doing so, they committed further crimes and disqualified themselves.

The only solution to the conflict is the bi-national state planned by the United Nations at the end of the Second World War. This would put an end to the apartheid practiced by Israel, as US President Jimmy Carter wrote 15 years ago [4], and would guarantee the Palestinians’ right of return. Except that today there are no Israelis and Palestinians capable of playing the role of Frederik de Klerk and Nelson Mandela. Moreover, the inter-communal clashes that have just taken place in Israel’s mixed cities make this solution increasingly difficult.

Colonel Ralph Peters, who published this US staff map in 2005, wrote on September 12, 2001: “Would a peaceful resolution of the conflicts in the Middle East benefit the United States after all? Israel, no longer dependent on the United States as its last defender, could show a worrying degree of independence” (Parameters #31).

Explanatory hypothesis

It is difficult to believe that the wear and tear of time alone explains intercommunal clashes. Israelis and Palestinians aspire to coexist peacefully, at least those who do not belong to either Likud or Hamas. I therefore pose a hypothesis with regard to the region known by American strategists as the “broader Middle East”.

The May 14 incident in Jaffa, where rioters threw a Molotov cocktail into an Arab home, severely burning a 12-year-old child, is intriguing. It provoked a hundred anti-Jewish actions in the city, which in turn provoked anti-Arab actions. However, according to the police, the initial incident was not the work of extremist Jews, but of two Arabs. The question then arises: were they fools who went to the wrong house and hit their own side, or mercenaries committing a false flag attack?

Since September 11, 2001 (with the exception of the Trump parenthesis), the Pentagon has been implementing the Rumsfeld/Cebrowski doctrine. It is a question of adapting the US army to the demands of financial capitalism and the globalization of trade. To begin with, the US military staff has set itself the objective of destroying all state structures in this region, with the exception of those of Israel, Lebanon and Jordan, so that multinationals can exploit the natural resources there without encountering any political obstacles. Thus, we have successively witnessed this destruction in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen. All these wars were sold to us as “revolutions”, but none of them were. They were supposed to last a few weeks, but none of them ended (the “endless war”). So now they are sold to us as “civil wars”. For the past two years, the same process has been at work in Lebanon, but this time without the direct use of weapons. The US military map, published in 2005, has therefore been modified. It is therefore legitimate to envisage that this plague will spread to Israel.

According to Admiral Arthur Cebrowski, the main difficulty in implementing his doctrine is to contain the fire. That is why he imagined the region of the “Greater Middle East” based not on its resources, but on the culture of its inhabitants. So was it possible to dynamite all the states in this region, whether their governments were friends or enemies, without touching geographic Palestine?

This hypothesis can exist in two variants: in the first, the contamination of Israel is the work of peoples driven by their passion; in the second, it is a will of the Pentagon. In any case, if the sequence of events in the coming months should confirm this hypothesis, what is happening now is changing the nature of the conflict and prolonging it ad infinitum.

The Pentagon had opposed President Trump’s foreign policy. Some generals even congratulated themselves for deceiving him and defeating the withdrawal of US troops from Syria. They did not accept that this country would escape them and come under the protection of Russia. They have taken up the Rumsfeld/Cebrowski doctrine in Lebanon against the advice of President Trump. They played on internal rivalries while refraining from openly using their troops. In the United States, the Democratic Party is turning anti-Israeli under the influence of members of the Rashida Tlaib group, Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, Ayanna Pressley and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The Pentagon, which since 2001 considers Israel as an ally that has become too independent for its taste, would find its revenge in its destruction.

In the space of a few days, and particularly since the Israeli bombing of the Associated Press offices in Gaza, the US press has gone from being pro-Israeli to pro-Palestinian; such a sudden turnaround that it leaves one wondering.

How the West Was One

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

(No, my choice of words is not in error.)

Picking up where we left off….

In a single act, Pope Leo’s coronation of Charlemagne changed all of that.  Christendom still may have possessed only one Church, but now there were two Roman Empires to claim her.

The Age of Paradise: Christendom from Pentecost to the First Millennium, by John Strickland

Charlemagne was crowned emperor by the pope.  This created two Roman Empires.  Until now, there was one empire, with its seat of power in the East: the New Rome of Constantinople.  But Charlemagne was not of the East, not recognized as Emperor of any regions in the East.  Hence, a second Roman Empire, headed by Charlemagne, and located…well, we will come to this.

As a result of the pope’s action, the door was now open to a wholesale reconfiguration of Western Christian romanitas.

The term “romanitas” is used to describe the Roman-ness of Christian civilization.  This identity spanned East and West, dating back to the conversion of Constantine.  Strickland offers:

The loss of western territories to the barbarian invasions of the fifth century had not greatly undermined romanitas, despite claims by modern historians since the time of the so-called Enlightenment.

This is a very interesting statement, and one that should have been obvious to me had I put the two-plus-two together of that which I already knew of history.  After all, Constantinople remained, whatever happened in the West; Constantinople was Roman; Constantinople was Christian.  There were no “Dark Ages” in the East, at least not at this time.  (Of course, to refer to the period as “Dark Ages” in either East or West was an error, at best.)

However, the East was not directly influenced by the Germanic (barbarian) tribes, and it was through these tribes that differences in East and West – theologically, politically, and culturally – would become apparent.  Looking back through history, it is clear how these differences played out regarding government and liberty.

The root of this appears to be the differences in the tribal customs that separated East and West, and, perhaps, the relatively more important and longer lasting role of Islam in the East.  Perhaps as I get into further volumes of Strickland’s works, this issue will become more clear.

I have previously focused solely on the meaning of Charlemagne’s crowning within the context of the Western Empire: Charlemagne’s annual wars used to consolidate his authority over various recalcitrant European tribes, most famously the Saxons.  Strickland will tell the story of the time through the eyes of wider Christendom.

Charlemagne’s central project was to establish a Christian state, defined by a culture that was Frankish – and definitely not “Greek,” a term used pejoratively, as those in the East considered themselves as Roman, not Greek.

At the heart if this movement was a principle Charlemagne called “correction” (correctio).

It was an act of reformation, growing out of the conviction that it was the duty of a Christian ruler to supervise the religious life of his subjects – and to intervene when necessary.  For Charlemagne, this meant dealing with the ignorance of many of his subjects.

Outside of the monastic centers, in the vast swaths of rural territories, little Christian instruction occurred.  The illiterate parish clergy offered little help.  Christians were still offering to the pagan god Thor; children were baptized in the name of the Fatherland, and of the daughter, and of the Holy Spirit – an issue of incorrect Latin grammar, yet still an issue.

Such ambitions required a new capital.  This would eventually be Aachen, the Future Rome (ventura Roma).  Old Rome was no longer the capital, New Rome was not under Charlemagne’s domain – in any case, from the view of the West, it was corrupted beyond hope; even now, a woman was sitting on the throne, the Empress Irene.

Though unable to write, Charlemagne could read and speak several languages.  For him, however, Latin was the language of culture; he would reform it and use it as the official language of his court.  He would also reform the design of Christian temples, adding a monumental western entrance, known as the “westwork.”  Atop its tower, a spire would point to heaven.

Unlike the central dome that came to characterize Eastern Christian architecture, and which symbolized heavenly immanence, the spires of Western Christendom would direct attention away from the world to a distantly transcendent heaven.

Charlemagne would assemble a team of scholars at Aachen.  Very few were Franks; the best known was the Anglo-Saxon Alcuin, from York, who lived not far from one of the best equipped libraries in the West, at Bede’s monastery at Jarrow.  There was also Theodulf of Spain, Paul the Deacon from Lombardy, and Paulinus from Aquileia.  They would lead what has come to be known as the Carolingian Renaissance.

They would publish the General Admonition (Admonitio generalis) in 789, directing local bishops to conform their practices to the court’s directives about correct beliefs and practices.  Alcuin’s nickname for the emperor was King David, but he might better be known through a different nickname, and one suggested in the Admonition – that of the Hebraic reformer, King Josiah.

Derek Wilson, a biographer of Charlemagne, would note Charlemagne’s leaning on Augustine’s City of God.  Wilson writes:

It was the ruler’s responsibility to pay close attention to the minutiae of all regulations pertaining to the relationship between man and man, man and the state, and above all, man and God.

Charlemagne was thus obsessed with regulating the religious and secular life of his subjects.  The reform was no less ambitious than that found during the Protestant Reformation, and, ultimately, enforced in a similar manner: as noted earlier, much of this only occurred via the sword.  Unlike the Protestant Reformation, Charlemagne’s “correction” was emphatically linked to the papacy (and, of course, separate from any authority in the East).

However, without the printing press, Charlemagne’s reforms didn’t travel as far and as fast, and his empire did not survive for long after his death.  Still, it was a significant event in Christian history – his aim was the transformation of all of the people of his Frankish realm.

Conclusion

I cannot help but connect this description of Charlemagne’s centralizing actions to today’s project – throughout the West, but very evident in Europe through the various European Union activities.  Repeating the words of Charlemagne’s biographer:

It was the ruler’s responsibility to pay close attention to the minutiae of all regulations pertaining to the relationship between man and man, man and the state, and above all, man and God.

Other than striking the last part – as, certainly in Europe, a very effective job of eliminating God from any discussion has been achieved – one could read this as the EU charter.  Actually, perhaps it is better said that man’s relationship with God has been regulated quite effectively….

Which brings me to the Charlemagne Prize, awarded annually to individuals who best demonstrate this vision of a united and open Europe.  A few years ago, it was awarded to Pope Francis, who became the first pope to accept this prize for his work on behalf of European solidarity.

As noted in this post describing the award to the pope, Charlemagne could only accomplish what he accomplished through war and destruction.  To expand on this point and the parallels to today is, I believe, not necessary.  The one difference: today, a larger portion of the subjects are much more malleable.

Epilogue

A major point of controversy, introduced during this time, was the filioque – the introduction of a phrase in the Nicene Creed that the Holy Spirit proceeds not only from the Father, but also from the Son.  This was not included in the original creed, but was added by theologians in the West (or introduced as a “correction” by theologians in the West, depending on your point of view).  For purposes of this blog, it is sufficient only to note the impact this had on further dividing East and West, and the political and governance ramifications of this division.

If you are interested, you can read about this controversy here.

A recent article published in the scientific journal Microbiology and Infectious Diseases makes the claim that the mRNA Pfizer Covid vaccine may contain prions which cause deadly neurodegenerative disease, sometimes called “Creutzfeldt-Jakob” or  “Mad Cow” disease. The article, titled “COVID-19 RNA Based Vaccines and the Risk of Prion Disease,” was published in January of 2021 and has been studiously ignored by major media, which has focused its efforts on encouraging individuals to take the jab.

The paper was authored by J. Bart Classen, MD and analyzed the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, stating that:

The RNA sequence of the vaccine as well as the spike protein target interaction were analyzed for the potential to convert intracellular RNA binding proteins TAR DNA binding protein (TDP-43) and Fused in Sarcoma (FUS) into their pathologic prion conformations. The results indicate that the vaccine RNA has specific sequences that may induce TDP-43 and FUS to fold into their pathologic prion confirmations.

The paper goes on to state that “The folding of TDP-43 and FUS into their pathologic prion confirmations is known to cause ALS, front temporal lobar degeneration, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological degenerative diseases.”

In other words, the Pfizer mRNA vaccine may have the  capability of turning brains to mush.

Far from prompting any pause or calls for re-evaluation of the Pfizer vaccine, the media has largely ignored the paper. A few of the more notorious “fact check” websites have pronounced that the conclusions of this study are false.

According to USA Today, which appears to be possibly the only national mainstream media to have covered this article, “Contrary to Classen’s claim, there is no evidence to suggest the COVID-19 vaccines can cause prion diseases or other neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.”

USA Today cites as their source for this the fact that the FDA did not mention prion disease as an effect of the vaccine. USA Today also mentions that the CDC’s VAERS website does not mention prion disease as resulting from the Pfizer vaccine. However, as prion disease takes years to develop, it is hardly likely that the VAERS website would contain this information. The article goes on to trash the journal in which the article appeared, quoting a Dr. Angela Rassmussen with Georgetown University as stating that it is “not a reputable or reliable journal.”

The article charges that “Microbiology & Infectious Diseases is an open-access journal published by SciVision Publishers, a potential predatory publisher intended for profit rather than academic peer-review.” In fact, SciVision Publishers makes its content freely available without charge, while charging the authors a publication fee.

There are other statements intending to “slur the messenger” by the fact check sites. PolitiFact stated that Classen speculates on his website that the coronavirus pandemic “is actually a bioweapon attack and may be linked to the U.S. anthrax attack of 2001.”

PolitiFact states that “He also included that claim — which PolitiFact has repeatedly debunked — in the body of his research article.”

PolitiFact has gotten this wrong. Way, way wrong. There is a clear nexus with the attacks of September 11 and a bioweapons agenda. This nexus manifested itself in a number of ways. For one, the infamous Patriot Act, passed in the wake of 9/11, contains a little discussed section, enumerated as 817, The Expansion of the Biological Weapons Statute, which gives the US government immunity from violating its own bioweapons laws. This nexus between the events of September 2001 and a bioweapons agenda is discussed extensively in my upcoming book At the Breaking Point of History: How Decades of US Duplicity Enabled the Pandemic.

Apart from the propagandistic slur above, PolitiFact also charges that Classen provides no evidence of a relationship between the Pfizer vaccine and prion disease, stating “All he includes is a three-sentence methods section summarizing an unspecified analysis of the coronavirus vaccine.”

However, in an article in the International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice and Research, authors Dr. Stephanie Seneff (MIT) and Dr.  Greg Nigh discuss a variety of problems presented by the mRNA vaccines.  Their peer reviewed article, which is titled “Worse Than the Disease? Reviewing Some Possible Unintended Consequences of the mRNA Vaccines Against Covid-19” also supports Dr. Classen’s concerns, stating that “When considering that the SARS CoV2 spike protein is a transmembrane protein, and that it contains five GxxxG motifs in its sequence (see uniprot.org/uniprot/P0DTC2), it becomes extremely plausible that it could behave as a prion.”

The authors go on to note “…that the mRNA vaccines are designed with an altered sequence that replaces two adjacent amino acids in the fusion domain with a pair of prolines. This is done intentionally in order to force the protein to remain in its open state and make it harder for  it to fuse  with the membrane. This seems to us like a dangerous step towards misfolding potentially leading to prion disease.”

The article also addresses concerns about vaccine “shedding,” and provides scientific validation for concerns that vaccinated can potentially infect unvaccinated with prion disease. The article states that “There has been considerable chatter on the Internet about the possibility of vaccinated people  causing disease in unvaccinated people in close proximity. While this may seem hard to believe, there is a plausible process by which it could occur through the release of exosomes from dendritic cells in the spleen containing misfolded spike proteins, in complex with other prion reconformed proteins.”

Fauci Is Finally Unmasked

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been the leader of the federal government’s politically based responses to Covid-19 since day one of the pandemic.  The director since 1984 of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, he now serves as President Biden’s leading advisor on the issue. Last year, Fauci repeatedly undercut President Trump when he was working for the 45th president. And now he’s all in for Joe Biden.

In recent years, people on the left who lie and break the law – from the streets to the suites – have rarely been held accountable. One of them, in the opinion of many, is Dr. Anthony Fauci.  Fauci is more responsible than anyone else for promoting lockdowns, mask mandates, and experimental vaccines rather than inexpensive, effective treatments for Covid-19. While most conservatives have lost faith in “Dr. Doom,” it has seemed like he would never be held to account for what he has done or that he would ever be compelled to relinquish his lifelong, incredibly influential, and highly remunerative bureaucratic perch.

But – keep your fingers crossed – that may be about to change. The serious unraveling of  Fauci’s undeserved reputation as “an American hero” and “the most trusted voice on Covid-19” has finally begun.

In the past several weeks, a number of things happened to alter the status quo Fauci-is-god spin. For months now, outlying reporting, from reputable sources – including whistleblowers like virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan who escaped from Red China – has maintained that the origin of Covid-19 was the Wuhan Institute of Virology. According to these sources, the virus was either a bioweapon or a horrific experiment that got loose by accident from the Wuhan lab. After being dismissed as a conspiracy theory, these possibilities to explain the coronavirus have now gained significant ground and gone mainstream.

On May 2, Nicholas Wade, a 30 year veteran of the New York Times as a science writer and editor, published a lengthy article, “Origin of Covid – Following the clues,” that examined and pretty much confirmed the hypothesis of the virus’s creation in the Wuhan lab. Tucker Carlson at Fox News, who has the number one show on all of cable news, building on the work of his colleague Steve Hilton who first reported on this subject last January, highlighted Wade’s article on the origins of Covid-19 on Monday May 10. Carlson added an emphasis on Fauci’s role, noting Fauci’s pushing masks and lockdowns. He wondered if this behavior was “a cover for something else. Could it be that Tony Fauci is trying to divert attention from himself and his own role in the COVID-19 pandemic?”

That high profile line of inquiry let the cat out of the bag.

The following day, Fauci was grilled by Republican Senators when he appeared at a U.S. Senate hearing.

Gain of function research in China and a possible U.S. role

Even before Fox News’s reporting one week ago, momentum for taking a serious look into Covid-19’s origins was starting to build. In an opinion piece in the Washington Post on May 6, “Congress is finally investigating the lab accident covid-19 origin theory,” for example, Josh Rogin took note of the developments and confirmed that “It is clear that the NIH and other U.S. agencies don’t want to have their activities investigated” – most likely because of what might be revealed.

The Wuhan lab conducted experiments involving “gain of function” research on viruses like the coronavirus basically to enhance them so they would be more deadly to humans. Gain of function is a controversial form of study that involves boosting the infectivity and lethality of a pathogen. It is the weaponization of the coronavirus. This is the kind of research that you would expect would come out of a place like Germany during World War Two.

And Fauci, it appears, was allegedly a major supporter of this line of “research.” Documents, including published scientific studies, and the accounts of those involved attest to the fact that – in Carlson’s words – “those experiments [in China] were funded by American tax dollars. . .  approved and directed by Tony Fauci in Washington.”

Previously, these reports were to be found in the alternative media or on less prominent programs like Steve Hilton’s The Next Revolution (Sunday nights on Fox News) or Stephen K. Bannon’s War Room: Pandemic. Now, on May 10, they were trumpeted on the number one program on all of American cable news. And not only on Carlson’s conservative opinion program: later that week, Fox News’s daily signature news department  program Special Report began airing a series of probing segments (including here and here) on the origins of Covid-19.

The allegations aimed at Fauci, based on a variety of records, are that his NIH Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases provided millions of dollars of U.S. government funding to a third party that used the money to help fund the deadly research at the Wuhan China lab. This action allegedly circumvented a prohibition of funding further gain of function research that was ordered by the Obama administration in 2014. Ultimately, it was this research – engineered as a bioweapon or resulting in an accidental release of the enhanced virus – that likely led to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.

Carlson said on May 10, “More than any other single American, Tony Fauci is responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic.”

When an article about his Monday broadcast was published at Fox News dot com, it was titled “Anthony Fauci let the coronavirus pandemic happen. Why isn’t there a criminal investigation?”

Carlson further asserted – in a summary of his program’s reporting:

For five years – from 2014 to 2019 – the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which Fauci runs, and has for decades, pumped money to a group called the EcoHealth Alliance. The gain of function research had been banned by the U.S. during that period, at the behest of the Obama Administration! The allegation now is that Tony Fauci. . .invoked that special exception in order to keep funding the Wuhan lab, and the deadly experiments that were going on there. The experiments that clearly went so wrong.

Watching the Tree To Catch a Hare

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

This American lacuna is not confined to Iran. The world has changed decisively, yet America seems to be pursuing its policies of yesteryear.

Two writers who explicitly present themselves as prominent advocates of the pro-Israel ‘Community’ in Washington, Tony Badran and Michael Doran, in a piece in The Tablet, condemn the Team Biden’s attempt to achieve a return to the JCPOA as a feint devised to undermine Israel’s ‘war between wars’ with Iran, and as a political Trojan Horse.

They warn that: “A consensus reigns inside the administration, not just on the JCPOA, but on every big question of Middle East strategy: Everyone from the president on down, agrees about the need ‘to complete what Obama started’ — which means that the worst is yet to come”: A hint that (for the ‘Community’), the end result effectively means the de-fanging of Israel, achieved by laying down a smoke cloud of ‘love’ for Israel, washed down with more of the latest U.S. weaponry.

“If the control that Obama’s project exercises over every mind in the Biden administration is not already obvious – It is because confusion still reigns about the true nature of the [Obama] project” … That nature, and “ultimate goal,” Malley has written, was “to help the [Middle East] find a more stable balance of power that would make it less dependent on direct U.S. interference or protection”. (Emphasis added.)

Malley’s description is a roundabout way, Badran and Doran argue, of saying that “Obama dreamed of a new Middle Eastern order—one that relies more on partnership with Iran”. Indeed, Jake Sullivan, a year ago seemly confirmed this analysis when he wrote: “The goal [in the Middle East] is to be “less ambitious” militarily, “but more ambitious in … [pressing] for a de-escalation in tensions and eventually a new modus vivendi [arriving] among the key regional actors … changing the U.S. role in a regional order – that it helped create”.

Obama’s ambition, the authors assert, was to work in partnership with Russia and Iran to stabilize not just Syria, but other regional trouble spots, too. After all, a tacit U.S. arrangement with Iran already had existed in Iraq, based on mutual hostility to Sunni jihadism. Couldn’t that model be expanded? Would not a partnership with Russia and Iran stabilize this vexed region?

The allegation of deceit – the evident ire – that this raised in the FDD and the pro-Israel ‘Community’, lay in the implicit corollary of Obama needing to hobble the “correlation of forces” – principally Israel and Saudi Arabia – that he, Obama, believed was boxing him in, preventing him “from towing Iran’s nuclear program out of the main lanes of U.S.-Iranian relations, and ‘parking it’ off to one side” – this being the necessary and sufficient condition for building a more stable balance of power, that would make the region less dependent on the U.S.

Ok, the ‘Community’ saw this as sinister; but equally, it could be argued that Obama was trying, also, to right the mis-match between U.S. resources and ballooning U.S. global commitments. What irks the authors so, however, is their belief that Obama’s policy is today’s Biden policy in its entirety. And that its ultimate aim is to drive a stake through the Iran containment policy which Trump and Netanyahu have pursued (with considerable success, according to the authors).

Here is the point: The authors almost certainly are correct when they argue that domestic U.S. politics explains “the hold that this empty theory exercises – over otherwise bright minds”. Realignment in the Middle East was the signature initiative of Barack Obama, who remains either the most powerful man in Democratic politics, or a very close second, and that “Malley, as the keeper of Obama’s Iran flame, reports to Blinken, in effect, through Obama”.

More pertinently, “the political heft of the Realignment derives not just from Obama’s personal support; but also from the support of progressives whose cosmology it affirms. The latter equate a policy of containing Iran with a path to ‘forever war’ – and transforms a policy of accommodating Iran into the path to peace”.

“It reduces the complexities of the Middle East to a Manichean morality tale that pits the progressives against their mythological foes—Evangelical Christians, “neoconservatives,” and Zionists. The Realignment depicts these foes as co-conspirators with Mohammed bin Salman and Benjamin Netanyahu, plotting to keep America mired in the Middle East”.

What is the point here? The Tablet piece is important, for it explains in a nutshell, a puzzling conundrum: Why is it that the DC Beltway has been so convinced that inevitably there would be a deal reached in Vienna on Iran’s return to the JCPOA? Trump was ousted, and with a huge sigh of relief, the world is able to revert to how matters stood four years earlier, and how could Iran possibly demur at Biden undoing for them, the fetters of containment? That would not be rational.

The Biden team probably did not even think to look at their JCPOA initiative from an Iranian current perspective. But perhaps Iran sees itself, through its own initiative, already having broken those fetters – through its outreach to China and Russia; through its embedding of an effective, swarm smart missile deterrence right across the region; and by the serendipitous unrolling of China’s new hard and digital economics all around and through Iran’s geography.

Team Biden however prevaricated initially, more intent on arguing about how to keep as much ‘leverage’ in situ as possible, over Iran (for their anticipated Part Two expanded JCPOA deal). They allowed whatever psychological impact there was to their project, to waste away. It became clear that a current in DC was more intent on being niggardly over the concessions on offer. And Iranian duly scepticism surged.

The salience to The Tablet article lies with its compelling argument that U.S. Iran politics was entirely focussed on a U.S. domestic wrangle; (Israel being integral to U.S. domestic politics.) All was an exercise in navel-gazing: Trump’s max-pressure had failed – and would be unceremoniously discarded. The Obama vision ‘was back’, thus allowing America to pivot away from West Asia towards its top priority of knocking-back China’s rise. How could Iran possibly refuse the renewal of the ‘Obama design’? Were the Iranians blind to the profound shift taking place in Washington politics as a result of 3 November?

No, Iran saw it, but events had moved on since Obama was in office. Iranians widely were doubtful. Why put themselves back into a regime of surveillance and intrusion, when their experience of it, even before May 2018, was pretty noxious?

A key point here – with the ‘Biden’ JCPOA approach, and its foreign policy, more generally – has been the ‘frozen time’ assumption. The Team just seemed to assume that the former Obama policies were still valid, virtually unaltered. The premise was of the world of four years ago, not the world as it is today. This is the clear underlying theme to The Tablet piece: that the two poles of the internal U.S. vision on Iran on 6 January inverted, and that now, the Obama vision inevitably would be fully unrolled. Possibly, Netanyahu – so deeply immersed in the U.S. bubble – saw things similarly.

So intent were the Democrats on their ‘war’ to oust Trump at any price, it seems, that they took their eyes off the radical changes taking place around the globe. They did not envisage the possibility of Iran sticking a spanner in their works. Belatedly the window for a deal – if there is to be one at all – is now understood to be narrow indeed.

This American lacuna however, is not confined to Iran alone. The world has changed – perhaps decisively – yet America seems to be pursuing its policies of yesteryear.

Across the Beltway, China is unanimously regarded as the premier U.S. national security threat. But policy seems still to be rooted in the profound western conviction that a one-party system is unsustainable because it is incapable of innovation, and therefore can easily be bested by a ‘can-do’ America.

This view rests however, on the flawed premise that the CPC should be equated with the Soviet Communist Party – an institution that crumbled under America’s tactic of forcing it into financial over-extension – in the U.S. narrative. But why has this understanding not been updated? It remains the common currency amongst those Americans who believe the U.S. will succeed in ‘out-competing’ China.

“Yet the two Parties have very little in common. Why should they? Russia could hardly be more different from China. The CPSU was a historical failure: in contrast, the CPC, over the last century, has arguably been the world’s most successful political party”, writes Martin Jacques. “It is impossible to understand the CPC in terms of traditional Marxism: from well before 1949, the CPC’s Marxism was highly nativized. The CPC, furthermore, is rooted in, and profoundly influenced, by Confucianism. It might be described as a hybrid of Chinese Marxism and Confucianism. The CPC is shaped by, and is as complex as Chinese civilization – of which, of course, it is a product”.

Similarly, U.S. thinking on Russia shows little or no innovation either: It seems set on repeating the old Afghanistan quagmire ploy from the Brzezinski era – of drawing Russia into a new Ukraine quagmire so as to drain Russia’s political focus and energy away from the China alliance – and, again, to crash the oil price, with Biden’s Green Revolution, re-setting the world into clean energy mode, and away from fossil fuels use, for ever.

The Chinese have an old wisdom which seems perfectly to encapsulate U.S. foreign policy at this time. It is called “watching the tree to catch a hare”. Once there was a boy who was told by his master to catch a hare. He went into the woods and looked around. Lo and behold, at that moment, he saw a hare running along at full speed. As he watched in astonishment, the hare ran smack into a tree and knocked itself unconscious. All he had to do was to pick it up. For the rest of his life the boy waited behind the same tree, in the hope that more hares would do the same thing.

The boy is like U.S. foreign policy: expecting the same conditions to be waiting for the new Washington team; ‘watching the tree’ hoping that another hare will just fall dead, and all that is required is to pick up the carcass – and away to lunch on it.

The views of individual contributors do not necessarily represent those of the Strategic Culture Foundation.

Mask Generated Infectious Pandemics

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

When you realize that no one has been dying of bacteria, flu, or fungus infections, you know something is wrong. Though warnings never stop about the dangers of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and killer fungus infections that make COVID look like a walk in the park, not a word is printed in the media about people killed by these other infections. Everyone dies of COVID; that’s where the money is for hospitals, at least in the United States.

COVID seems to be a cure for the flu since no
one has died from influenza over the past year.

No matter how bad the story is with masks and vaccines, it either wears them or rolls up your sleeve and takes the experimental vaccines. That’s what the American president says. Americans are being put between a rock and a hard place thanks to their friendly federal government, by Dr. Fauci specifically, but how will it work in the 25 States that have banned mandatory mask mandates?

Dozens of people being treated for Covid-19 at a Florida hospital last
summer became additionally infected with a mysterious, often deadly
fungus called Candida auris
, a US government study said in January of 2021.

COVID diagnosis and COVID deaths are coving up deadly infections of other types. Since COVID tests are not really testing specifically for COVID-19 or its variants, we are running blindly, not knowing how harmful or prevalent fungus and bacterial infections are during the pandemic.

According to the FDA and CDC, positive results indicate active infection with SARS-CoV-2 but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of the disease. Even Dr. Fauci admits to false positives from the COVID tests. The test currently being deployed to detect COVID-19 infection is the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. This test, however, was not developed for and is not a reliable indicator of the presence of infectious disease. The Nobel-Prize-winning inventor of the test, Kary B. Mullis, is quoted as stating: “PCR tests cannot detect free infectious viruses at all.” They can detect genetic sequences of viruses but not viruses themselves.

Members of the public could be putting themselves more at risk from contracting coronavirus by wearing face masks, one of England’s most senior doctors has warned. Jenny Harries, deputy chief medical officer, said the masks could “actually trap the virus” and cause the person wearing it to breathe it in. Not only the virus, we are learning, but a host of bacteria, fungus, yeast, and molds, which are potentially more deadly than COVID-19 and any of its variants.

In Germany, the association of “Kinder f.Weltfrieden eV” commissioned a laboratory analysis to investigate the level of microbial contamination that results after a child wears a fresh mask for 6-8 hours in school. What they found was alarming to all those recommending we mask our children for several hours every day. The masks were found to be contaminated with 82 bacterial colonies and 4 mold colonies. Where do you think the bacteria, molds, and viruses progressively colonizing and growing on the warm moist mask-mouth interface end up? So it should be no surprise that the GOP is proposing a federal law abolishing mask mandates for children.

In more than 50% of cases, a fungal infection will end in death.
It’s challenging to diagnose, and fungus infections are often
detected either too late, not at all, or
treated inappropriately.

Fungus & Bacterial Armageddon

Based on reports from emergency medicine, pulmonology, and infectious disease, an alarming explosion in bacterial pneumonia is reported at ERs and urgent care centers across the country. Back in 2008, health authorities detected the emergence of a rare but deadly “lung-eating” form of pneumonia sparked by the combination of skin infection and the common flu. The double infection has appeared before: It was the leading cause of bacterial pneumonia deaths during the 1957-1958 flu pandemic, killing 2 million people worldwide and about 70,000 people in the United States.

The 1918 flu pandemic, which virologists like to obsess with, killed nearly 50 million people worldwide. Most of us do not know that very few of those victims died of the flu itself. Many historians and the National Institutes of Health believe 95 percent of those deaths were caused by secondary bacterial pneumonia, which swept in after people’s bodies had been weakened by the flu virus or by mask-generated infections. People were wearing them back then as they have for the past year.

Decades of the highest-level scientific evidence (meta-analyses of multiple
randomized controlled trials) overwhelmingly conclude that
medical masks are
ineffective at preventing the transmission of respiratory viruses
, including SAR-CoV-2.
Dr. James Meehan

Dr. James Meehan, MD, is warning that mask-wearing has well-known risks that have been well-studied and they’re not being discussed in the risk analysis. “I’m seeing patients that have facial rashes, fungal infections, bacterial infections. Reports coming from my colleagues all over the world are suggesting that bacterial cases of pneumonia are on the rise. Why might that be? Because untrained members of the public are wearing medical masks repeatedly in a non-sterile fashion. They’re becoming contaminated. They’re pulling them off of their car seat, off the rearview mirror, out of their pocket, from their countertop, and they’re reapplying a mask that should be worn fresh and sterile every single time.”

The bacteria in your mouth will have a more fertile
breeding ground
; you’ll be more likely to have tooth
decay, you’ll smell bad breath, those sorts of things.
Dentist Dr. Justin Russo

The CDC says that wearing a mask for many hours can increase your chances of infection and irritation, creating a favorable environment for yeast. They also say that reusable masks should be washed on a regular basis. More frequently, if it becomes moist. Candida Overgrowth is a perpetrator that reveals itself by leaving the skin raw, red, irritated, chapped, or rashy, according to Everyday Health. Candida Overgrowth is a yeast infection in your mouth. This infection cannot solely be caused by wearing a mask, but the conditions a mask provides are perfect for the disease to grow.

Mask Generated Infectious Pandemic

What we might be facing is an infectious pandemic from obsessive mask-wearing. Many of the microbes get transferred to surfaces the child (or adult) touches after they touch, fiddle, and mishandle their mask. This is one of the many reasons that masks are almost certainly INCREASING the transmission of infectious disease. More dangerously, these microbes are being inhaled and delivered deep into the lungs, where respiratory disease far worse than CoVID-19 can result.

The oxygen lowering effects of masks force the body to compensate by increasing heart rate and deepening inspirations (increasing tidal volumes). Increased tidal volumes drive the mask pathogens deep into the lungs, where they can cause severe pneumonia, inflammation, and tissue damage.

Furthermore, these risks are compounded by the immune suppression (CD4+ T-cell suppression) that results from diminished arterial oxygenation. Thus, the mask-wearing child or adult is at imminent risk for harm caused by lung infections that are far more dangerous than a COVID-19 infection.

Rare Fungal/Candida Infections?

A lot is going on in your mouth. There are about 700 species of microbes living in there, according to the National Institutes of Health. Like other areas of your body, there are both good bacteria and bad (the kind that makes your breath stink or lead to cavities), and there’s also fungus, which is normal but can cause a whole host of problems.

Anyone who’s worn a mask in the summertime knows that it can get hot under there. And masks offer the perfect conditions for overgrowth. “Candida thrives in humid environments, much like the one created under your mask,” says Lucy Chen, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at Riverchase Dermatology in Miami. “While a face mask can’t be the sole cause of a skin infection, the combination of heat, humidity and a tight mask could worsen underlying conditions that prompt a fungal or bacterial infection,” she says.

Dermatologist Dr. Susan Massick agrees: “We already have yeast on our skin. A yeast infection could occur in the right setting, such as a warm, moist environment, but is often related to another factor (diabetes, compromised immune system, recent course of antibiotics, poor hygiene) that allows the yeast to grow unchecked.”

Rare fungal infections that can turn fatal are becoming anything but rare. The rising tide of mucormycosis or ‘black fungus’ infection among COVID-19 survivors has everyone concerned except those pushing vaccines for COVID.

The corona menace is presently on hold, but in the meantime, another threat, black fungal infections, is looming large. Fungal infections are increasing rapidly in people who have recovered from COVID-19.

Covid-19 patients at risk of developing the black fungus infection include uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, immunosuppression by steroids, prolonged ICU stay, malignancy, and voriconazole therapy. Mucormycosis or Black Fungus is a severe fungal infection caused by a fungus named mucor found on wet surfaces.

Conclusion

Mask mandates have led to a new psychological disorder, to mask insanity, which has always included masking infants. And despite all of the above, the CDC still recommending schools stick to current guidelines and continue to have students wear masks and social distance until the end of the school year.

“Covid is a tool, like a psychological crowbar used to leverage compliance, because the presumption is that it is a threat to everyone. And, if the same bogeyman threatens everyone, then everyone is part of the same monolith, the same collective. And if everyone is part of the same collective, then everyone must fight that bogeyman together in unity. If you do not work with the collective, that means you are working against the collective,” writes Brandon Smith, who says, “The vaccine is a stepping stone to tyranny disguised as empathy and duty to your community.”

The problem with the mainstream COVID narrative is that, in reality, there are many bogeymen, but they want you to pay attention to just one, so they can sell their vaccines and take control of our lives as much as possible.

Government Scrubs Stats on Vaccine-Related Deaths

Tuesday 18 May 2021 11:01 PM UTC-05

According to Dr. Peter McCullough, vice chief of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center and known for being one of the top five most-published medical researchers in the United States, COVID-19 vaccines are killing “huge numbers” of people and the government is simply ignoring it.

In a video interview with investigative journalist and founder of Liberty Sentinel, Alex Newman, McCullough says the U.S. government, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and health agencies around the world have all committed to vaccinating the global population while sitting on data showing the COVID-19 “vaccines” are turning out to be the most lethal vaccines ever created.

Safe Treatments Suppressed in Favor of Dangerous ‘Vaccines’

McCullough, who also has a master’s degree in public health, has provided testimony in three different Senate hearings, sharing the treatments he used to help patients recover from COVID-19 and avoid hospitalization. He summarizes his protocol in the interview.

These strategies are also detailed in “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 Infection,” published in the January 2021 issue of the American Journal of Medicine.1 He was also a consulting editor of “A Guide to Home-Based COVID Treatment.”2

During a recent Texas state Senate Health and Human Services Committee hearing, McCullough noted that, according to available data, early treatment could have prevented up to 85% of COVID-19 deaths.3 Early at-home treatment also minimizes the spread, as the amount of time you’re infectious can be reduced from two weeks to about four days.

Yet, despite being inexpensive and readily available, early treatments have all been censored and suppressed, apparently in order to secure this global mass vaccination campaign. In fact, as McCullough notes, there’s been no clarified guidance on COVID treatment at all, not even hospital protocols.

The entire focus of our health agencies has been on masking, lockdowns and waiting for a gene therapy “vaccine.” The results have been devastating. Five months into the mass vaccination campaign, more than 10,000 in the U.S. and European Union have already died after getting the shots. Any other vaccine would have been pulled from the market by now.

Shocking Stats Show Just How Dangerous COVID ‘Vaccines’ Are

For example, in 1976, the U.S. government vaccinated 45 million people against pandemic swine flu. The entire program was canceled after reports of just 53 deaths, according to Fox News.4 Note: The number of deaths reported after the 1976 inoculation program varies from three to 53, depending on the source.5,6,7

Now, health authorities are shrugging off more than 3,800 deaths8 after COVID-19 vaccination as either coincidental or inconsequential. Think about that. Five months into the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, we’re looking at a death toll that is 7,000% greater than during the swine flu vaccination campaign, which was canceled after the vaccine was deemed too risky.

The COVID-19 “vaccine” is also on a level of magnitude more dangerous than the seasonal flu vaccine. As reported by McCullough, on average, there are 20 to 30 deaths reported following the seasonal flu vaccine, which is given to about 195 million Americans each year.9

Compare that to these novel COVID-19 gene therapies. So far, an estimated 124 million Americans are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the death count is already at 3,837, as of April 30, 2021.10

Worse, it appears the vaccine adverse event reporting system (VAERS) is backlogged by about three months,11 so this is likely to be a serious undercount. Even if VAERS was fully caught up, it would be an undercount, as only 1%12,13 to 10%14 of adverse events after vaccination are ever reported. So, in reality, we might be looking at anywhere from 38,370 to 383,700 COVID vaccine-related deaths.

A third comparison can be made against vaccines as a whole. As reported by Tucker Carlson,15 May 6, 2021, the COVID-19 shots have already resulted in more deaths than all available vaccines combined from mid-1997 until the end of 2013 — a period of 15.5 years.

No Other Vaccine Has Harmed This Many

In a recent report, the Israeli People Committee (IPC), a civilian body of health experts, similarly concluded that “there has never been a vaccine that has harmed as many people.” The Committee received 288 reports of death following COVID-19 vaccination, 90% of which occurred within 10 days. According to this report (translated from Hebrew):16

“According to Central Bureau of Statistics data during January-February 2021, at the peak of the Israeli mass vaccination campaign, there was a 22% increase in overall mortality in Israel compared with the previous year.

In fact, January-February 2021 have been the deadliest months in the last decade, with the highest overall mortality rates compared to corresponding months in the last 10 years.

Amongst the 20-29 age group the increase in overall mortality has been most dramatic. In this age group, we detect an increase of 32% in overall mortality in comparison with previous year.

Statistical analysis of information from the Central Bureau of Statistics, combined with information from the Ministry of Health, leads to the conclusion that the mortality rate amongst the vaccinated is estimated at about 1: 5000 (1: 13000 at ages 20-49, 1: 6000 at ages 50-69, 1: 1600 at ages 70+).

According to this estimate, it is possible to estimate the number of deaths in Israel in proximity of the vaccine, as of today, at about 1000-1100 people.”

CDC Denies Lethal Risks

The contrast in the government’s response to COVID-19 vaccine deaths compared to the 1976 swine flu pandemic vaccination campaign is “alarming,” McCullough says.

February 19, 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a statement saying there were “no safety problems” with Pfizer’s and Moderna’s mRNA injections.17 Of the 113 deaths reported at that time, none was deemed to be related to the vaccines.

Then, in May 2021, after reviewing 1,600 deaths reported to VAERS with an unnamed group of U.S. Food and Drug Administration doctors, the CDC declared that none of the deaths was related to the vaccine — this despite 24% of deaths have occurred within 48 hours of injection, and 16% within 24 hours. The problem is that it would take several months to investigate that many deaths, so the likelihood that this was a thorough investigation is slim to none.

“It is impossible for unnamed regulatory doctors without any experience with COVID-19 to opine that none of the deaths were related to the vaccine,” McCullough tells Newman.

“So, I think this was effectively a scrubbing, like we’ve seen elsewhere … We’re sitting on, right now, the biggest number of vaccine deaths [and] there’s been tens of thousands of hospitalizations, all attributable to the vaccine, and [we’re still] going strong.”

The reason you’re not hearing any negative news about these “vaccines” is because major media networks and stakeholders in COVID-19 vaccines have formed a “trusted news credibility coalition” that seeks to prevent any negative information about COVID vaccines to get into the popular media “because they’re concerned about vaccine hesitancy,” McCullough says.

Suppression of Concerning VAERS Data Underway

As of April 30, 2021, 3,837 people have died, and 16,014 people have reported serious injuries and disabilities following COVID-19 injections.18 Among these deaths were two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old. There were also 235 reports or miscarriage or premature birth as of April 30, 2021.19

You can check the latest statistics yourself using openvaers.com.20 So-called fact checkers are of course working overtime to quell rumors about the trends showing in the VAERS data.

A recent fact-check article21 by The Post and Courier quotes unnamed, obscure experts stating that dying from the COVID-19 vaccine “isn’t an outcome people should worry about,” and that “despite misinformation shared on social media that sources a federal vaccines safety database” — meaning the VAERS database — “there is no proof of any patients having died as a result of taking a COVID-19 vaccine in the United States.”

PolitiFact also recently blew off VAERS as a “breeding ground for misinformation.”22 It warned social media posts reporting VAERS data are not to be trusted, as VAERS “reports are not verified” and “are not enough to determine whether a vaccine causes a particular adverse event.”

While both of those statements are true, PolitiFact fails to address the glaring problem that both the CDC and the FDA, which run VAERS jointly, are ignoring clearly emerging trends of harm. The Defender contacted the CDC March 8, 2021, with a list of questions about the vaccine injury reports, and as of May 11 — 64 days later — had received no reply.23

“[VAERS] is the only place where America, policy makers and others, are going to get a fair shake in understanding safety,” McCullough says. He points out that more than 80 colleges and any number of employers are now implementing mandatory COVID vaccination, and the only way for them to understand what the implications of that decision might be is to review the VAERS data. They’re not going to get any clues elsewhere, thanks to the universal suppression of information.

Overall, it appears the entire mission of VAERS and other such databases is being tossed aside. The system’s primary goal is to “detect new, unusual or rare vaccine adverse events” as a way to monitor the safety of vaccines.

As noted by McCullough, after five reported deaths where a medical product is suspected of being involved, the FDA will issue a black box warning — a notice to consumers warning them that the drug might cause death. At around 50 suspicious deaths, the product is pulled off the market.

The system is clearly failing if every single report of serious injury or death, including all the ones occurring within hours and in people with no underlying health problems, are simply written off as coincidence. It’s simply not believable.

EU Reports More Than 7,700 Deaths

Signs of lethal risks are also evident in data from the European Union, where the EudraVigilance system had received 7,766 reports of death after COVID vaccination as of April 17, 2021.24

Of these, Pfizer’s mRNA injection accounted for the largest number of deaths at 4,293, followed by Moderna with 2,094 deaths, AstraZeneca with 1,360 deaths and Johnson & Johnson with 19 deaths. As noted by McCullough:

“In my professional opinion, the safest vaccine on the market was the J&J vaccine, and that was pulled for very rare blood-clotting events. We had 7 million people vaccinated but the estimates are for the other two vaccines available [Pfizer and Moderna], the blood-clotting rates are probably 30 times that of J&J, and these others are going strong.”

Active Vaccine Surveillance Is Months Away

The FDA has also admitted that its analysis of vaccine safety data will be delayed for weeks, if not months. Right as the pandemic hit, they were in the process of transitioning from its Post-Licensure Rapid Immunization Safety Monitoring (PRISM) network, which was used to track side effects from the pandemic H1N1 vaccine, into a new system called the Biologics Effectiveness and Safety System (BEST).

In the meantime, they’re relying on a patchwork of passive reporting systems, including VAERS, the Vaccine Safety Datalink and a phone-based self-reporting system called v-safe.

Since all of these are based on voluntary self-reporting, they can miss potentially lethal and unanticipated reactions. By the end of March 2021, only 6.4% of all vaccinated individuals had enrolled in v-safe, for example,25 which means a vast majority aren’t being surveilled for side effects.

While BEST will be an active surveillance system capable of examining data from 100 million people and actually compare rates of adverse events between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals to detect trends, we are months away from this kind of analysis.

In the meantime, people continue to die, and for no good reason, considering the lethality of COVID-19 is on par with seasonal influenza for most age groups.26,27,28,29,30

Signs of Malfeasance Abound

At this point, the list of evidences of malfeasance is exceedingly long. For a rundown of several key issues, see the peer-reviewed paper “COVID-19: Restoring Public Trust During a Global Health Crisis — An Evidence-Based Position Paper to Ensure Ethical Conduct.”31

In it, the author substantiates McCullough’s allegations of rampant, wanton misconduct among public health officials, the active suppression of safe and effective treatments, and pandemic measures being implemented based on incorrect assumptions and outright lies.

As noted by McCullough in the featured interview, advertisements for COVID-19 vaccines were launched in violation of law before FDA licensing was complete. The initial studies had not even been completed. To this day, none of the COVID-19 “vaccines” has been licensed.

They only have emergency use authorization (EUA), and there’s no possible way for anyone to assure their safety. All of these facts are why they’re completely optional, and legally cannot yet be made mandatory, even though many schools and businesses are attempting to do that.

McCullough also stresses that in the COVID-19 vaccine trials, both the vaccinated groups and control groups had a less than 1% infection rate, which is about as low as it gets, in terms of risk. What this means is the overall public health impact of COVID-19 vaccination is also bound to be less than 1% — in other words, meaningless.

He also points out that around the world, we’re now seeing about 60% of active COVID-19 cases being in fully vaccinated individuals. In McCullough’s own practice, the COVID-19 patients he saw in the two weeks before this interview, about 60% were fully vaccinated, and there’s no difference in disease presentation between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

Death Tally May Spike During Fall and Winter

While the death toll from COVID-19 vaccines is already at a historical level, I fear it may shoot far higher as we move through fall and winter. The reason for this is because one of the greatest wild cards of these vaccines is antibody‐dependent enhancement (ADE) or paradoxical immune enhancement (PIE).

I’ve detailed this issue in several articles, including “How COVID-19 Vaccine Can Destroy Your Immune System” and “Will Vaccinated People Be More Vulnerable to Variants?” In summary, ADE means that rather than enhance your immunity against the infection, the vaccine actually enhances the virus’ ability to enter and infect your cells, resulting in more severe disease than had you not been vaccinated.32,33

Fall and winter are the seasons in which most coronavirus infections occur, be it SARS-CoV-2 or other coronaviruses responsible for the common cold. If ADE does turn out to be a common problem with these injections, then vaccinated individuals may in fact turn out to be at significantly higher risk of severe COVID-19 and a potentially lethal immune reaction due to pathogenic priming.

Another potential risk is that of Th2 immunopathology, a form of cell-based enhancement in which a faulty T cell response triggers allergic inflammation. This condition may in some cases overlap with ADE, and can, like ADE, be life-threatening.34

In my view, there are still so many potential avenues of harm and so many uncertainties, I would encourage everyone to do your homework, keep reading and learning, weigh the potential pros and cons, ignore all pressure tactics and take your time when deciding whether to get any of these COVID-19 gene therapies.

If you or someone you love has already received a COVID-19 vaccine and are experiencing side effects, be sure to report it, preferably to all three of these locations:35

  1. If you live in the U.S., file a report on VAERS
  2. Report the injury on VaxxTracker.com, which is a nongovernmental adverse event tracker (you can file anonymously if you like)
  3. Report the injury on the Children’s Health Defense website
